There's some beer and drinks for sale, as well as some food, but their offerings are pretty dismal. I only say this in comparison to everything that's going on outside this venue. Quebec City is for eating!!! Other than that, this is a well-appointed venue that I would not hesitate to come to for events other than hockey. If you're visiting from outside Quebec, I highly recommend taking in a Remparts game. The tickets are super cheap and there's nothing more Canada than hockey!

We were surprised they only had a few places inside open for popcorn and drinks. No real food?! I took off one star for that reason. The bathrooms were clean and there were several near our seats. Ushers were friendly. Surprisingly most guests in our section wanted us to sit down during the concert. We complied most of the time, but really?! Singing and dancing are part of the experience. Paul performed for almost three hours. Great sound, lights and special effects. We were able to get on the freeway to our hotel quickly after the concert.

We decided to drop in for a tour here on our second visit to Quebec City, mostly just to try…read moresomething new. The tour was about an hour long and our tour guide's English was great. Plenty of jokes and interesting descriptions about the history of the place. This building was originally a jail when it was built, intended to reflect the ideology of a British man who was set on reforming prisons. Like many countries when faced with an influx of immigration, the population housed in the jail were disproportionately made up of immigrants being punished for minor offenses. It was later converted to an English-language college that didn't last very long. The building finally wound up becoming an English-language library that now serves as the English-language cultural center of Quebec City. The library is filled with artifacts as well. And that old library smell is heavenly! The tour was a little boring, but not terribly, which is the only reason I give it 4 stars. I would have liked some more photographs from that time to be displayed throughout (even though I know they're probably incredibly rare). I did find myself checking my watch, but probably because we came in starving. If you're a history buff, library nerd, or jail hobbyist (lol), definitely try to check this place out.

The park was peaceful and quiet, with a few brave souls out cross‑country skiing and practicing their downhill skills--such a classic Québec winter scene. We took the stairs down toward the river, and the view from the top was absolutely worth it. The St. Lawrence River looks stunning framed by all that snow and open sky. For anyone interested in the historical side of the Plains, it's probably best to return once the snow has melted so you can explore the grounds more fully. But for a serene winter walk and beautiful scenery, this place is magical.

There are two ways to get to Pierre-Dugua-De Mons Terrace. The first is to walk across Dufferin Terrace to the end of the wooden slide runs. The second is to walk up from Avenue Saint-Denis. Any photo you take at the terrace, no matter the season or the time of day, would be as pretty as a postcard. Go for a stroll along the walls of the Citadel located next to the terrace. The view here encompasses many of Quebec's famous sites: On the left, there is the eminent Chateau Frontenac, a luxury hotel built to attract visitors from around the world; in the center, there is the historic Quebec old town, a UNESCO world heritage site; and on the right is the St Lawrence river, dominating the landscape and dotted with the occasional cruise ship to bring people from far-flung lands into the city.

The servers are wonderful. It was quite full when we left at 5:30. The washrooms are clean. It's a very nice space.
