Just one-on-one time with an incredible physical therapist. I met Dr Jung after 2.5 years in pain (about 14 months of severe sciatic pain) that left me with pain-based scoliosis. Standing or walking for more than 15-30 seconds was incredibly painful and I couldn't stand up straight. Had seen 3 physical therapists and 3 chiropractors over those 2.5 years and none knew what to make of my issue after several months of treatment. Dr. Jung was kind enough to call me on his own time after work one evening and assured me his experiences could likely assist. Dr. Jung has a kind and compassionate presence along with wisdom from years of hands on experience and tons of training. Did you know Doctor's of Physical Therapy (DPT) can opt to go through residency and on to fellowships? He was one of the first 10 DPT fellows in the state of Maryland! He will empathize and listen to your concerns and celebrate each of your successes while ensuring you get the most out of your time with him. While not without pain, frustration, and setbacks, I'm THRILLED to report that I can now take zumba classes and am planning some large travel trips that I couldn't imagine a mere 12 months ago. The Columbia Physical Therapy In Motion team is wonderful - I would highly recommend any of the therapists for any of your PT needs, though I am very partial to Dr. Jung for any spine-based issues. Do note that getting an appointment with Dr. Jung may take a few weeks because of his popularity, but he is worth the wait. As a tip: when you call to make your initial appointment, ask to get on his schedule twice a week to make sure you don't have to wait again --- if you opt not to see him anymore, just cancel the appointments with no problems. I don't think anyone finds that helpful. There really isn't any help unless becoming homeless like we did almost a year ago is what you consider to be help.i watched 6 other families from there also be put out to homeless shelter its apparently the routine thing they do for poor abused women. The wealthy ones may find that short stay helpful bc gives them chance to find apartment but if you're broke they put you out to homeless shelter.i even got a job but had to quit bc I got off 2 hours after school bus dropped daughter off and wouldn't allow her to stay there while I worked and she's of legal age in md to be left alone,was11, now,12.weve been homeless since we went there in Nov before Thanksgiving 2025. I've reached out many times to update but still no help. Stop lying to women having g them escape only to become homeless. That's not help.were so depressed and lost and feel alone with no help and no end in sight of becoming homed again.it was a mistake to go there or to believe there was actually any help available. This has been the worst experience of my life and the emotional abuse from dv didnt stop yet either. So they help with nothing.its esthetically pleading,a beautiful place but they do t help women. If you choose to help a vulnerable population and take donations and got funds for it than you have a responsibility to actually give the help. Women need to work so there's needs to be childcare, and they need a permanent place to live not a homeless shelter.leadt of all the hsp shelter that puts a correctional focus on the homeless families.you kno like prison.thats what correctional institutions are for,criminals not for abused people.hsp shelter leaves families to languish in the shelter system and doesn't transition them into permanent homes either and they don't treat residents with dignity .they make clear everyday that you are a worthless homeless person,and should be grateful you have any shelter bc it could be the street or back to your abuser.i saw some women return to their abuser after leaving springboard bc the homeless shelter was unbearable. It's sad people give money to these organizations who keep for bonuses and paychecks bc they certainly aren't using it to help women get or stay emotes or to get permanent housing. You don't leave abuse to dv shelter to become homeless.you can do that without dv shelters help. It's a crying shame the false helping organizations out there for there own greed and trying dankest to hide from the truth from the public. I am able to get in quickly for appointments and felt very safe with air cleaning / covid safety protocols still in place - he actually already had an exceptional setup due to working with cancer patients and others who can't afford to catch even minor illnesses. The office is convenient, right outside old Ellicott City, with easy parking, and the office is just him, so you get professional, personal service unlike at high-volume places where you sometimes feel like you're just a number. I frequently felt the calming, grounding, or energizing effects of his work immediately. Although external looks weren't my primary concern, I was frequently amazed, when I happened to catch a glance of myself in the mirror, by how radiant and colorful my face appeared after an acupuncture session--it seemed that inner health was shining outward, too. I feel that Eric's acupuncture greatly helped to support my health and energy while I was working very hard toward some ambitious career goals. Because I was able to successfully achieve those goals, I'm no longer in the area. After moving away, I discovered that not all acupuncturists are created equal: in my new, cosmopolitan city, I'm still trying to find an acupuncturist who's as good as Eric.
