It was a thorny problem, and I was not optimistic about finding a fix (much less an affordable one). But the friendly, helpful folks at Aladdin's were able to repair them, installing new screening and making the frames operable. And I was pleasantly surprised at the price - only about a third of what I had expected to pay! Will I recommend Aladdin's? You bet I will.

Since I am not sure why the reviews on Yelp are so mixed, I will add my experiences into the frey:…read more I have had two separate vandalism episodes in the past 10 months, with rocks thrown through my house and garage window. The first incident with the house window was in the dead of winter, and they were kind enough to come out and give an estimate the same day, and had the window replaced within 2 days. This was highly appreciated given that I otherwise would have been stuck with plywood covering for lord knows how long during a cold february! The most recent vandalism incident resulted in the shattered garage window in addition to a shattered car windshield. Thankfully, glass doctors does both automotive and home glass repair, and they were my immediate second call after phoning police. This experience with glass doctors was no less exceptional. Wendy went above and beyond to help, setting up a three way call with my insurance company to make the windshield claim. Phil came to my home the very next day to replace the car windshield as it was not safe to drive. They had the garage window replaced within days as well. The quality of the workmanship is phenomenal. The owner Phil and all of the technicians i have interacted with from this location have been excellent. While the circumstances surrounding my need for this company's services have been less than ideal, I couldn't be happier with them. I highly recommend them to others, and they will continue to be my first call should I need them again in the future!

Had them at another glass company, let's call them "cheerful", for a week and they had not been touched for several different reasons. Called HEK. Ashley said to bring them over and they might be able to run them through the polisher a few times to take care of this issue while I waited. She didn't know they had been sitting at Cheerful for a week; it was just how HEK does things. I got tied up and couldn't get over there until about 15 minutes before they closed. Everyone was extremely pleasant and took care of my things in a few minutes. Could not have been a better experience! I don't expect things this fast every time but it was great to see. Ashley and the guys in the back were as nice as could be! They have a sign up that you can choose two of these three: Fast, Good, Cheap. Hate to tell them but they proved it wrong today! HEK did all three!! Will I use HEK again? Or recommend them to others? To quote their t-shirts, HEK yeah!
