Needed a podiatrist in the area and was referred to Dr. Raineri…read more Very easy to get an appointment here, and Dr. Raineri is always very informative and willing to answer questions. Also helps that he's just a nice guy in general. Hands down best podiatrist in this area to me.

Unfortunately I cannot give this place a full five stars despite the phenomenal job Dr. Ranieri did…read moreduring my surgery. The after care in his office was nothing short of condescending and patronizing. After my first post op appointment he removed the bandages from my surgery and wrapped my foot with new bandages. I accidentally got my foot wet trying to shower three days later and changed my bandages on my foot. I wrapped it similar to the way he did which was just sterile gauze and a sterile wrap. I arrived in his office and he said to me "WHY DID YOU CHANGE YOUR BANDAGES?" I told him because it got wet and you told me to keep it dry, so its not the original bandages. He replied "Oh I know those are not my bandages obviously, that is why I asked", then he proceeded to talk to down to me about how people are on their phones all day long but cannot call when something important happens. Almost as if I offended him personally. He then proceeded to tell me my foot was his art work and he had my foot wrapped to keep my pinky toe straight. There was nothing but ointment and gauze on my foot. There was no tape keeping anything in place. It was not rocket science to change a bandage and it was not a major surgery. A simple and respectful response should have been "next time give me call" and that would have sufficed, but instead he scolded me in front of my dad. Whom when we left immediately said, WOW, He is really rude and my father was almost provoked to speak up on my behalf due to Dr. Ranieri rudeness. Before I had surgery Dr. Ranieri was a nice doctor, not sure what changed. Once my post op care is completed. I will NOT be back ever. Also, his receptionist is amazingly sweet and provides good customer service for appointments and reminders.

YAY Always happy to find a great doctor! Found Dr. Shaunn Carrington through my insurance company…read morewebsite and called up. The wonderful office manager (Angie) was able to get me within a day or so because I explained that I was hurting. She "fit me in" and I am so happy she did, because I'm on my way to having pain-free feet! The waiting area was clean and staff was super friendly and Dr. Carrington is lovely. She actually has a sense of humor! Not easy to find in the medical world. They were able to hook me up with a shot for the pain and inflammation, a sexy night boot thingy and a referral for x-rays at nearby Sentara Lake Ridge. I'm definitely recommending that my husband goes here instead of his podiatrist in Washington, DC, as it's tough to get an appointment there aaaand they don't have Dr. Carrington.

Twice they told me I don't have a balance, and I have nothing to pay. Then 4 months later, in mid Dec, I got 2 bills for $35. I called to pay and told the front desk/biller I was told I don't have a balance when I was ready to pay. She apologized and then told me there's a 3% late fee. I told her again that I was told I didn't owe anything. In addition, they mailed the bill (or bills) 4 months later (which surprised me as again I was told twice shortly after my appt I have $0 balance). The lady said she would waive the fee. The next day, I checked my credit card, she charged me the 3% fee. The lied numerous times. And then fraudulently charged my card with the unauthorized amount. Good thing it was only $1.05 (3%) late fee. But this shows they CANNOT be TRUSTED! This place has No business or personal ethics!

Fine okay, I trust her. Over a month goes by and I'm still having pinpoint pain in the same spot and cannot move my foot. I call to try and explain my symptoms but I could tell she was annoyed I called and brushed everything I said off. I went and got a third opinion. Let's just say I will never come here again. I also wanted to add, I think they do great work for people with injuries you can actually see. If you can't see the injury, go somewhere else. There is one receptionist here who is really sweet and nice, the other who I believe is younger seemed to have attitude on the phone with me, and was not helpful when I asked questions.

Upon arriving I was disappointed that the office was on the second floor but they offered us a wheelchair so I didn't have to struggle getting in. I was given new X-rays and glad for that because they found I had a second broken bone! Dr. Tammer was AMAZING! His bedside manner was so kind and calming. He spent time discussing every option and the pros and cons of each. He was very reassuring, knowledgeable, and I could tell that he was listening to what matters to me. I couldn't be happier with the care I received!
