I have been a patient at STAAMP for over 6 years and have always had a positive experience. However, I was disappointed in how the central scheduling handled my request for an appointment today. After searching for the phone number online, I was directed to central scheduling. When I attempted to make an appointment with my location, I was abruptly asked, 'Did your office location not answer the phone'. I then proceed to explain to them that the website directed me to contact central scheduling. It is bad enough being ill; yet worse when we cannot get treatment. It looks like I am not the only one that has had an unpleasant experience with scheduling. The office location at Olmos has always been great! I am disappointed when trying to get an in-office sick appointment. Unfortunately, I had to go to a Texas Med for treatment. read more

They don't care about your time. I got there at 0845 for a 0900 appt. I left at 0938 because no one had seen me. I told them to have the doc call me and do a telemed bc I wasn't wasting my time again. They said they could do that. Sooooo why was I told to come in in the first place? It's just to go over blood test. I'm not getting anything done. I hate wasting time and this place wastes so much. It sucks bc the doc seems nice enough and the team is nice but they lack in service and that is enough to make me go somewhere else. read more

Unfortunately I have been coming here for quite the few years and as always the dynamics have never changed. The quality of service has gotten A LOT worse to a point where I dread coming here . I notice they swap out the people after a certain amount of time and it use to be where there were some really nice ladies working here BUT I came in and one after the other they were GONE!! Now not all but a few of the people that work there are more in your personal business than they are concerned with the the level of care for the patients. I am told I have to wait in their lobby for 30 minutes because the person sitting at the front office seen me leave the building? If I decided I don't want to wait in the lobby that should be MY concern due to the fact my insurance company pays the bill. Anything outside of that should NOT be the concern of the office especially because NOW I feel like I am not only being watched BUT talked about. That is BAD customer service!! I have NEVER heard of a patient being reprimanded by a worker at a company before and to be honest it's VERY insulting. Once these treatments are over I will be looking else where for the SAME level of care BUT not the same level of respect. read more

The office is slow. Prepare to wait significantly longer than necessary to be seen just to get a routine allergy injection. I come on a weekly basis and - even when I'm the only person in the waiting room - it usually takes 30-40 minutes just to be taken to the back for the shot. I'm not sure if STAAMP just isn't well staffed or their management team isn't paying attention to the customer experience, but I recommend finding another clinic. read more

I left a lengthy message prior to my appointment- in which Dr Dice has actually gone out of his way to patronize me for. If I'm going to pay for an appointment with you, I will go out of my way, type 1,000 letters if necessary to let you know EXACTLY what it's for. I sent 2 emails and left a message with the nurse. Overkill? Maybe to you but I'm a single dad with 3 mouths to feed. I'm not wasting my money to talk to you on the phone for fun. I've had bad experiences with this poor excuse for a Dr, to the tune that I drive an extra 30 minutes to not see him. He doesn't like me...or he just doesn't like his life. Maybe both. Anyhow, last time I saw him, he was condescending as well. "Maybe you're just allergic to dirty air, why don't you try a low histamine diet"! I had to go to my pulmonologist for proper care because this guy just isn't capable/doesn't like doing his job. It seems like everyday is a bad day for Dice. Bad bedside manner. Rush rush. I'm too good for you, I have places to go and people to see, kinda attitude. He failed to diagnose me properly 4 years ago and I had over 50 days on antibiotics within 2 years because of this guy. I should be suing him instead of writing a bad review. Anyhow, all that I needed ANY physician to do was sign their name on a document from a very reputable company "Invitae" in which I qualified for free immunology workup. Instead of taking 2 minutes to see it's a reputable company and signing it, he decided to send my Dr a message about me and he attached my "long letter" (aren't you supposed to tell your drs about your current health?) and he stole my deductible like the miserable crook he is. read more

Won't be a patient of this office any longer. Had the initial appointment for my son which was a $50 co-pay (understandable and expected). They scheduled allergy testing separately (another $50). THEN , they wouldn't even give me results in the same visit. So now I get to wait a week for another separate visit to pay ANOTHER $50. When I asked why, the reason I got was it's for "insurance purposes". Sounds like a scam to me. I got allergy testing done for myself at my primary care and got the results immediately. Be ready to shell out a ton of money for no reason at all. read more

All the staff at STAAMP has been very helpful but Lesly Valdes has been over the top! She has gone out of her way to help me several times with different issues, she is always patient and friendly. Lesly is very quick to return my call or find someone to help me if she doesn't have the answer. During the transition to send my serum to a local provider for administration, she facilitated it for me seamlessly and took all the stress out of it. Working with her and everyone else at STAAMP has made my allergy treatment not just beneficial but pleasant. Thank you again to everyone there for making each visit and call a good experience but especially Lesly! I highly recommend this practice. read more

Dr. Dice is one of my favorite physicians ever. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable, but he enjoys working with patients -- you can actually feel it. On my first visit, he listened to my concerns and we had a good conversation about the possible causes and treatments. Then, he went to his office for a few short minutes to actually do some research to assure us both of the best treatment path for me. He then followed up with a phone call at home -- who does that anymore? I shouldn't be surprised, though, because he took his time during the office visit. I never felt rushed, and I never, ever felt like just another patient or that he had other things to do. During all of this, he was super-informative, friendly and caring. He's everything you could want in a doctor, and I highly, highly recommend him. read more

This was my first visit to an allergist and I was not to sure what to expect but the Dr. And staff did a fantastic job keeping my mind at ease and educating me through the process. The office is conveniently located right off 151 and easy to find. Upon my arrival, I walked in to a very nice office and a friendly greeting at the front desk. After completing the necessary forms I waited about 5 minutes and was called to the back. All the staff I encountered were very friendly, personable and easy to talk to. Dr. Gonzales took her time explaining to me exactly what to expect and was very thorough in the different treatment option that were available to me, she was very patient and one of the friendliest doctors I have come across! I had a great experience and would recommend this place to all my friends, family and anyone that reads this post! read more
