Their fest is very racist and nobody is speaking about it. The police they hire for "security" barley check bags (not to mention they let every white person passed) I know this because they stopped me and checked my bag but let my white friend pass without a bag check which is not only racist but very unsafe. The festival offered false advertisement saying its a Saturday night special ($10 for special wristbands) but still charging $30 for the wristband to ride the rides. The food/drinks were overpriced and it's quite embarrassing to be charging people that much only for them to be profiled against. The whole festival smelled like urine which isn't normal, some of the workers were rude and racist, and overall it wasn't an enjoyable experience. Wouldn't recommend going and wasting your money. The school even has a racist past towards black people (3 black families have spoken out about it) so I'm not even surprised this happened. Just really upset about it and would love for people of color to watch out for this prejudice school and their "fest". read more
