** Looking at the reviews before mine posted, I can tell you that most of these people are…read moreemployees or past employees of the school** Trust is powerful. Trust is something earned, and something that can be totally lost. O2B Boynton Beach lost my trust, my husband's trust, my extended families trust and several other families as well. My son started 02B West Boynton in September last year shortly after his first birthday. At the time I felt very welcomed, my child felt welcomed, and I thought he would be safe. That changed following very unfortunate situations that could've been completely avoidable. We had to pull our son out of O2B immediately following two incidences, including a a non-verbal child being lost and alone. Found my his mother in an empty classroom. (DCF was involved and school was reprimanded greatly, new protocols were put into place ect. (you know like safety!) And my child was sent home with fecal matter crusted to his genitals over six hours after he had a bowel movement. These are just two incidents of many, but the last straw to the mother/family of a young toddler. Our son is our world, and if you want quality childcare where your child is safe, cared for and protected- DONT enroll at O2B. Here are some key points on what to expect at O2B: -School looks welcoming, fun and colorful and very inviting. Bubbles and music greet you. Fun activities sprinkled throughout the year. Real enticing. -Nearly daily upon arrival, parents will come up to the front stating the teacher is not in the room they're supposed to be in or that the teacher is not there at all. -There's a hoard of cleaning products on a shelf in the children's restroom in the hallway. Accessible for students. This bathroom is 1000% utilized by children during the day mostly VPK. -In less than a year our son had over 20 teachers because the turnaround rate at that school is enough to be concerned about alone. One of the teachers had a complete nervous breakdown in front of our children and was removed from the two year-old room and put in a classroom with older students. And gossip from staff is seen, a heard. -My son nearly had his finger broken in half because a teacher wasn't paying attention and closed a commercial grad impact rated door on his finger leading from the classroom outside. His teacher told me it was bleeding everywhere, yet other staff member said it was a tiny cut. When I got there, it was a large laceration. -Head injuries are daily occurrence at the school, just be prepared for them to tell you that your child came to school with a goose egg on their head, bite marks on their shoulder blades, and bruises randomly. -White gates that are RARLY closed or locked (locking mechanism engaged). -Unapproved/violation inducing retractable gates that are in code violation for fire safety corralling the children away from the doors in the younger classrooms. These items are cleverly, not engaged or removed before the DCF and health dept inspections. It's always interesting to watch someone sweat a few days and during an evaluation from these outsourced entities. The school always be up to par with DCF and health department? You would completely assume that the answer would be yes! -We were under the total expectation that the children have a white binder that goes home at the end of the year showing their progression and work. When we left, there was literally three pieces of paper in it that were completed and everything else was blank. What type of progress is that I was told during my two viewings of the school that this was a very big part of the curriculum, I guess they forgot.? -Excuses upon excuses is what the staff, director- Carlee, assistant director - Daniella (deer in headlights), and the 3rd in charge (forgot her name). Nothing but excuses and half *ss apologies for lack of safety and supervision. Jessica, the school manager or supervisor, does not make herself known or her position known. She does not thrive in a confrontational environment, especially when they have no more excuses to give. -I have far too many instances, action reports, instant reports to even discuss. There is no reason why any parent want their child or children to go to O2B kids in West Boynton Beach. There are better options. We were very lucky to find an incredible school, where our son is absolutely thriving in a safe, loving, and educationally driven environment. I waited a year to post this because I want to make sure it wasn't an issue, making sure I wasn't looking into things that didn't exist. But O2B is perfectly clear. It's a Monet. It is a dumpster fire. And it is unsafe. I was in the education system for over 15 years for the Palm Beach County school district. Our children deserve better than this.

I still have 1 granddaughter in the school, this being her last year. They have very cute little programs. They do special holiday shows and special dinners with parents. Used to be parents and grandparents could also go but apparently they changed that to just parents. Your child will excel at this school and be very happy there as will the parents. My grandchildren had or still have Miss Marie who is lovely. Give your child a great experience of their first time attending school without you. This school is wonderful. I'm sorry I couldn't add photos of the shows.

He was pushed off outside playground equipment from the other child and broke his collarbone. The teachers told my father upon pick up that my son was playing somewhere he should not be. For a couple weeks before the incident, he was coming home with severe bite marks, he started regressing in his potty training, and fell severely ill after being fed a bad cup. Their insurance company or school won't release the video surveillance showing the incident but the CPS agent already admitted to viewing the tape and agreeing to negligence. To my knowledge, those teachers are still employed and the child that bullied my son for weeks is still in attendance.

It's very unfortunate that my daughter had to be the one who was hurt at only 9 months by the cartake named Wanda. My daughter had 7 sctraches all over her body. They were caused by Wanda with either her nails or jewelry. Which was inappropriate to have jewelry... wearing rings on all fingers when caring for the infant class. So unprofessional. The scratches were from her face to her arms to her pelvic to her legs. I saw only the one on her arm from the daily pictures in the tadpole app. When I called to ask Wanda consciously lied saying she came like that. That was so alarming because as any parent or caretaker or human being can imagine that any scratch will hurt and will cause a baby to cry. This is a disgraceful person. It was obvious NO GLOVES were used!!! And she did not report it. It was reported to the director and an occurrence report was done what I was further disappointed was that the next day before dropping my daughter off I wanted to make sure that Wanda was not there and she was. She should have been suspended until the true story was told. I did not drop her off. I took off and lost a days pay. I want to also point out. That day the meal report was wrong as well. items that i didn't provide my daughter were listed. God forbid she was allergic. I immediately withdrew my daughter from here. She was taken to the doctor to get it documented and the doctor was very surprised about this. My daughter is well but I don't trust daycare places any longer. I don't know what the status of her is. I am hoping she is expelled. The fact that she LIED is enough to know that this is a person that is not mentally stable. She is an abuser because she hurt my baby and lied. Pictures are attached. Others are on her face but I will not disclose.

They have planned activities for children and give updates to parents throughout the day. We had pleasure of having Miss. Irma first and Miss. Gigi second as Abdullah's teachers. My son's first school was a great experience and I will never forget the care they bestowed on my son. They were extremely nurturing and caring. Other employees we interacted was Miss. Morgan and miss.Sarah. The employees at this location work hard and address any issues. They helped my son be a nice caring boy that has well manners and is sweet to others. This school is for babies to 5 years old. It's a great option for parents who are working full time or need child help. They have full time programs and half day programs. It is a great thing for a child's development to put them in a program. I was extremely hesitant to put my son in at a young age but so happy that my husband convinced me. We loved the experience. Any one in Boynton, Delray, boca area should look at this school for an option for their young child's school option.

I don't care how many teachers they have in a room you can not watch or catch everything a child does. There are plenty of other schools around. Just move your child. I can tell you that something will happen again. That's the nature of toddlers. They don't have the words to express what they want to say, so they use their hands, feet or mouth to get across what they want to say. Maybe the child who but did it because your child would not leave this child alone or was taking toys away from the child or a million other things that can happen. Your child may be the one who is aggravating the other children. The director snd the teacher are doing all they can, I am sure. I didn't look at the date of your post but I just wanted you to know things like this happen all the time. And it's not because the teacher or the director doesn't care, because they do. But unless your child has someone follow him all day, there's no way to stop it. Perhaps they could let the child go that bit, but that's not the way to handle it. I'm sure they are/did do everything they can. Maybe get a nanny, that's the only way to stop other children from doing what toddlers do. Good luck and when he/they have the words to use, this will happen.

Under Miss Terri's leadership, it felt warm, consistent, and professionally run. Miss Martha, who worked with the infants, was exceptional and played a huge role in our decision to enroll. Back then, the staff felt experienced and connected to the families. Unfortunately, the school has changed significantly, especially under the new director, Dena. This past year has been the most difficult for us. Staff turnover has been constant--teachers come and go without any communication to the parents. At the beginning of the year, I met a lovely teacher at open house, only to find she was gone within a few weeks. No notice, no introduction to the new teacher--just a revolving door of unfamiliar faces. Most concerning was the lack of support during our son's potty training. We had specifically communicated, multiple times, that we needed the daily progress reports updated for medical reasons, especially so we could track bowel movements. Despite stressing the importance and necessity of this, the reports were rarely, if ever, completed accurately. It was frustrating, disappointing, and inexcusable. There's clearly a lack of training and support among the staff, and it reflects in the daily operations. Given how expensive KLA is, it simply doesn't live up to the high expectations or reputation it once had. It's a real shame, because it used to be a place we felt proud to be part of. We hope the school can take a serious look at its leadership and staffing issues, and return to the quality and care that originally set it apart. Until then, we can't recommend it to other families in good faith.
