The Director, Lawrence Cohen was always supportive and wonderful. She has given us plenty of great tips on how to support our son through various challenges. She is a professional you can trust every step of the way. I really appreciate that the school has a strong value system, so kindness and respect are truly FELT in the classrooms. My son is quite sensitive, so it was precious to have peace of mind and know that he feels safe at school. Last but not least, the school administration has been very responsive and forthcoming to meet all our needs. This kind of flexibility and personal approach is impossible to find anywhere else from my experience. I highly recommend Village Montessori to parents that are looking for excellent early education. It's a classic Montessori school with high standards, the teachers and director regularly advance their education, and we could see how the management are constantly striving to improve things - teachers training, free seminars for parents, events, classroom improvements, etc. We are really grateful to Village Montessori, Ms Sujata, Joan, Mike and the team for creating such a special community and experience during the formative years of our child's life!

They are nurturing, vigilant, and genuinely invested in the well-being of every child. Many teachers have been at KLA for years, and because they clearly enjoy being part of this community, they are able to build lasting bonds with children--even when they are no longer in the same classroom. This creates a uniquely special atmosphere for families. The approach to learning is thoughtful and intentional at every stage of development. Children are supported in reaching their milestones through meaningful experiences, social-emotional practices, and engaging class activities. The curriculum is comprehensive and balanced--covering academics (numbers, shapes, language), art (with a dedicated atelierista), physical education, and an impressive range of enrichment programs like dance, Spanish, soccer, and martial arts. KLA is also a wonderfully inclusive community, bringing together families from all around the world. It is not unusual to hear four or five languages spoken within a single class, always in a spirit of benevolence and respect, where everyone feels welcome. Another thing that stands out is the attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement. Everything feels carefully considered, and it is clear the leadership values feedback, making thoughtful changes while also supporting teachers in their own professional growth. If you are looking for a place that fosters independence from a young age and prepares children to transition smoothly and confidently into school, there is no better choice than KLA Schools of Coral Gables.

Mommy of a 15 month old babygirl…read more Let me begin by emphasizing that my husband is extremely hands on with our daughter he doesn't miss a single doctors appointment or activity she does 95% of the time. Education and social development are extremely important to him and I. That being said he doesn't believe in school under the age of 3. That all changed after our tour at KLA with Eileen (not sure if the spelling is correct). We arrived and first impression was amazing. You first have to walk through TWO doors to reach the children's hallway. The staff greets EVERY parent and student by name. The facility is spotless and it seems every corner has items to make your child think. We saw the outdoor space, art room, and classrooms all amazing. The instructors seemed very hands on with every child. Classrooms were setup prior to children returning from recess with the activity they would be performing that day (very organized). And everyone we met was super patient especially Eileen, she answered every single question in a way that did not feel rushed and you could tell she had a great passion for KLA. When the tour ended she even invited us to return for a mommy and me class so we could get a better feel how a child's day at school would go. This is what sealed the deal for my husband. The classroom we observed was interactive, engaging and most importantly felt SAFE. We asked if we could step out for 5 mins to see what it would feel like to leave our child alone with unfamiliar people. We were permitted to observe from a window. Clearly our babygirl cried.. the instructor comforted her and read her a book and the tears were gone within 3 mins. Nothing during our mock trail felt forced or fake it seemed genuine. Parents walking the hallway were smiling, one even told us they love the school for their children. We met with the director and were given prices.. to be honest the monthly fee is expensive compared to other school we have toured. However, when you experience the KLA culture, the staff and community the tuition becomes priceless when our child's development is on the line. She hasn't started and won't till the new school year but so far Eileen has made a profound impression on our family and we have never felt so confident in our decision. At the end of the school year I will review again on the progress our babygirl has made. THE BEST IS YET TO COME :)

My child has now been attending La Piazza for 3 years and we couldn't be happier with the school!…read moreThe first thing you notice about the school is the ambiance. The school is calm and exudes happiness and joy. Everything about the school is bright and clean and new. Apart from the facilities, the staff is warm, welcoming and caring. Everybody always seems to have a smile on their face and they truly LOVE the children. This is apparent in the way they interact with the children. They really care about each individual child on a personal level. La Piazza's curriculum and philosophy are superb. I cannot tell you how amazing it is for your four year old to come home eager to show you the art project they completed, or excited to teach you new words in Mandarin. Their language program is really something to be proud of, not only is my son learning a third language (Mandarin) but he practices his Spanish and English at the school as well. It is a real testament to the school's program and teachers that they are able to instill a love of learning in a child this young!! I love how La Piazza makes you feel welcomed and part of their family. I love volunteering for the school, both for their special events and for community service. It really brings me and my son closer together and teaches us both new things about ourselves and the community. La Piazza makes it so easy to be involved in your child's education, regardless of your work schedule, by planning events and service projects all year. I really wanted to be present and involved in my child's education and I am so grateful La Piazza allows me to do so! Before making this choice, I visited so many other schools in the area but they were not what I was looking for. Their curriculum, staff and programs are okay, but none blew me away like La Piazza did. There are 2 well known schools that may be closer to my home, but I will drive the extra few miles to La Piazza just for the quality of their school. I want to ensure my child receives the best early childhood experience possible, which is the reason I chose La Piazza. I am so, so glad that I made this decision. We Love La Piazza!

When…read morewe we're looking for a preschool for our toddler we initially wanted a Montessori as it was highly recommended by few friends.Anyway the school was already booked for the next year. We did a tour and liked a school, and we were pretty satisfied with a year our two year old completed here. We decided to continue, but this year is a different story. Actually a friend of mine whose kid was in different class, pulled her kid before this school year, pointing out that school has some issues. I don't know if that's because the director changed or the school run out of money, but activities became so limited. Most of the days kids just doing coloring and painting, not much of diverse materials are used even though you pay for it.Last year was much better regarding this.Curriculum missing some creativity. This year there have been zero field trips even though they were promised. Instead of taking kids to a museum tour as a field trip, they invite you(it's optional activity)to bring your kids on the weekend for a museum tour and charge you like 60$ per ticket.Ridiculous. Christmas party that was planned for a while was basically a bounce house. Other important thing, they are short on staff. The pictures of daily kids activities are posted on the app not very often. For that I don't blame the teacher(my kid teacher is great by the way, knowledgeable, passionate and caring and we really like her),but she is by herself most of the times so obviously can't do everything. On the good note, the school is very clean, super safe, everyone is friendly, the atmosphere is great, front desk ladies are amazing, very communicative and always there for any questions, ready to help you out with a smile. My kid's teacher is amazing as well, she pours all of her heart in care for the children. So to conclude they should invest more (financially and academically)to make a better experience for the children.

We are a Military family and when we PCS'd (Permanent change of station) to Homestead, we were scrambling to find a location that we felt comfortable with when placing our child in someone else's care. We met with a handful of child care facilities for daycare at the time and we were SO lucky to have finally found this special place. My son who began here for daycare 2 years ago (with Ms.Kathy & Ms.Erica - who are amazing! ) and is now in VPK with Ms.Gloria & Ms.Mia, he always looks forward to seeing his amazing teachers, friends, as well as the wonderful cleaning crew that he enjoys picking flowers and bringing those flowers right to them just about every morning. To see him excited about school each day and to know that this KinderCare has impacted my child in such a way, melts my heart and reassures my husband and I that we made a great decision in choosing Ms.Judy's KinderCare for our son. Thank you all for all you do!
