I moved to Houston five years ago and refused to switch doctors because she's provided top-notch care. Are the wait times long? Yes, but she always puts her patients' needs first. Her level of empathy is unparalleled- I feel blessed to have spent that most difficult night with her as my caretaker. She chose the perfect profession - helping surgical patients heal and feel comfortable and cared for. Crystal took me from feeling despair about my prognosis for pain relief that evening to feeling immense relief. In her very first round that evening, 2/19, she made me smile real smiles. She made me feel comfortable, not vulnerable and awkward, which was half the battle. She listened to my concerns because I was in so much pain. She vowed to help me get good rest. She succeeded. I never write reviews- it's not my thing. But this remarkable lady deserves special recognition. Her girls are lucky to have her for a mom. Her patients, I'm sure, agree with me. I bet her employer does too. She deserves a big raise- just throwing that in. I would like to mention one more nurse that was with me immediately post-op in recovery early that morning. I don't know her name bc I was in Lalaland, but I remember her pretty dark hair. She was more of a tough love nurse- she has to be, right? Those OR nurses are like superheroes. She needed to get me alert so I could get to my room and begin my healing. Chop chop!! She was no nonsense- in a good way. But my legs were on FIRE post op- restless leg. And, baby that I am, I got visibly upset and honey she HANDLED it in under 5 seconds. The anesthesiologist of course did his part but it was like miracle time with this awesome lady. And she tolerated me squeezing the hell out of her hand. Class act. - I'm quite sure the last thing she felt like doing was escorting me to my room. It meant the world to me and I'm grateful. She also deserves a raise .

They did not seem concerned at all about my problem but what insurance I had. when stated Humana Choice ppo, said they are not accepting any new Medicare plan patients. (tho site did say accepting new patients). They did not offer referrals or any solutions just not accepting. In contrast, I looked up a gyn/oncology in Healthgrade with high rating at Lakeview. They informed me compassionately she only handles after a cancer diagnosis, that I would have to see a regular gyn first, who would refer to after such a diagnosis. she then referred me to a gyn to call. No asking about ins. first. Additionally, I called another primary recommended by my dermatologist since gyn booked til April, and they were extremely helpful and made an appointmen. This whole experience, in my opinion, tells me money, profit more impt. to Dr. Williams than patients. I get that Medicare plans may not be as profitable as private plans, but there are millions of us out here needing quality healthcare and compassionate drs. too.

The woman who claimed to be in charge was rude and not nice. Without getting into my personal situation, I just want to warn people who need to go here, be careful of upsetting the management. Don't be expected to be treated in a polite or courteous manner. Another disappointing thing is that you need to go through a lot of phone time to get an appointment. I was told on the phone that this is not a walk-in clinic.

They close at 8:30. Not only was the staff rude to me but the nurse practitioner was totally rude to the front desk clerk for allowing me to start the check in process. With my wrist and arm swelling up by the second and the rest of me hurting from the fall, they asked me to leave and go to the hospital instead. I have never! My husband is a neurosurgeon. He would never treat anyone this way. Not a patient or an employee.
