I had a room facing the lake, so a nice view, but it did get a bit noisy on Friday/Saturday night with nightlife noise. The rooms seem recently updated; the bed was comfy with a nice table and seating area. The bathroom is bigger than your typical "European" style bathroom, which was a welcome change! Front desk employees were professional and friendly. Room service is available from the nice restaurant downstairs, Fire Lake. Breakfast is additional cost, but it is a huge spread and worth it in my opinion. All in all, certainly would stay here again if I am ever back in the area!

The bar fridge was broken for a few days and when it was fixed later during the week we asked for a coke zero they had no cold ones and the very next day there was still no one in the fridge even if asked the night before so the personally are lazy and far from service minded and even if you complain about the cold breakfast they don't know how to fix it or what to do except one blond highly energetic girl working during breakfast who was the most service minded person at the hotel that also spoke clearly Norwegian and English.

Our room was nice and clean! It was a great treat to have a comfy bed after traveling for the past 7 days and recharge before our Kjeragbolten hike! The breakfast was AMAZING! It was actually the best I had since I started traveling. They even a section of food to pack for hikers. Love Scandinavian breakfast. Parking was tough though.
