This five story library is part of the University of Brighton's group of libraries, and is probably the one with the most convenient location, just opposite St Peter's Church near the Level. In spite of its height, it's not that big - with a fairly limitted selection of stock - and, quite annoyingly, the books you need often located at a different library (in Moulsecoomb, Falmer, Eastbourne). All in all it's okay, and the staff are usually friendly - it's also often quiet so you can read cosily in the chairs in the window bays tucked away at the end of the book aisles.
Also - the opening times above are term times only - it's Mon-Fri 9-5 in the uni hols. read more
