Very inviting church! I arrived at 810 for the 830 Mass with doors open and friendly greeters…read more Father Tim was talking with the parishioners and smiling. There was a group of friends visiting and laughing, I sat near them. The church is beautiful. The cross behind the alter is the first thing that drew my eye...very large and stunning. The alter area was also very beautiful with live plants and a tabernacle that looks like it was from Europe! The statues of Mary and Joesph are exquisite. The stations of the cross are also well done. The organ player is legit! Support from a talented cantor. Finally, a rave review for Father Tim! He was celebrating the 25th anniversary of St. Hedwig Three Holy Women Parish. His homily was an expert blend of great words and humor! He even recognized 3 women who were instrumental in the success of the parish in a very humble and appreciative style. Another treat was a single first communion. The manor in which he made her feel was genuine compassion. At the end of the mass he wanted to thank the parishioners for celebrating the 25th milestone. One lady stood up and said a few words which erupted in applause and a standing ovation for the impact Fr.Tim has made on this tight Catholic community. Start your Sunday off right with Father Tim! p.s. there is a great bakery across the street for afterwards.

Knowing that we are loved by God and guided by the Spirit, we strive to be the welcoming voice and the serving hands of Jesus, spreading His love within the East Side community, in union with the Church throughout the world. In 2000, three venerable east side parishes, St. Hedwig, St. Rita Cascia and Mary, Queen of the Holy Rosary, merged to create one vibrant entity - Three Holy Women Parish. The name and logo for the parish blends the old and the new and was chosen to clearly combine the messages of the lives of St. Hedwig, St. Rita and Mary, Queen of the Holy Rosary. The three crowns in our logo represent defining moments for the three patronesses. St. Hedwig set aside her gold crown as queen of Poland to serve the poor. A crown of thorns was a special grace given to St. Rita fo r her great charity and severe penance. The garland of roses crowing Mary as Queen of the Most Holy Rosary represents the "rosaries" prayed asking for her intercession. Each one of the churches that represent Three Holy Women parish has a rich history of its own and serves as a beacon of faith for Milwaukee's lower east side Catholic community.

The church isn't over spiritual but has an excellent balance of spirit and truth. Well worth checking out. The location is in a arts looking building. To park in the parking lot the entrance is on the side. The church is worth checking out. (I am not the one who typically does a yelp review) but this place is worth the review.

We recently got a house in Milwaukee and were searching for a new Church. Yelped around and found…read moreMIX. Our first experience was great. Lots of younger energetic people intermixed with a few older people. We sat next to a couple in their 70s and were welcomed with hugs, handshakes and plenty of cheerfulness. The older lady next to us gave us a intro through narrative during the service which was nice. The pastor is young and fiery. I like that he uses a comedy approach and can elicit laughter to make a point. Church, in my humble opinion, should be a welcoming environment that uplifts your soul while gently reminding us all that we are responsible for our own decisions, but there is guidance available to those in need. The fire and brimstone approach is a fear tactic to scare people into submission... this pastor has no need for that because he is an excellent orator and can relate to those in his flock. He seems to be one of Milwaukee's best and brightest. The city is lucky to have this family leading the way. We also used the child care and greatly appreciated the extra attention they gave to be security focused and friendly at the same time. We now consider this our home Church.
