They were short staffed that night and couldn't do the x-ray and asked if we could come back in the morning. Go back in the morning at about 9:30 for x-ray and proceed back to the vehicle to wait for the doctor to call us in with the results. By 5:30 on Thursday, they still hadn't received the results of the x-ray. When I phoned to ask them what was going on because this was ridiculous, the girl that answered the phone was rude and snotty. Kept asking me what the doctor said. When I told her we hadn't even talked to a doctor, she couldn't grasp the concept that it had been 8 hours since the x-ray and we hadn't heard from anyone. After being quite testy with her she finally "bumped his name to the top of the list." 40 minutes later they finally called to confirm a broken arm. My son sat for 24 hours with a broken arm because their support staff couldn't get their sh!t together. The support staff in this place definitely takes away from the wonderful doctors. The emergency room at RUH would have been quicker. To be clear the 2 stars are for the doctors.

Healthy life care home when I picked this place for my parent I thought it would be something…read morewonderful here would be people who would take care of my precious loved one. Far from the truth at first was okay but as time went on and found out about the big infestation of mice and cockroaches and nothing was done about it. The disrespect to residents by owner and demanding appreciation from residents and saying "should of moved out long time ago and i give it everything dont forget it" . To the over medicating a resident so all they do is sleep. To the extreme moldy front load washing machine. Good on them for replacing it just prior to inspection in June of 2024. The heat being up to 30 even in winter sometimes and summer..I don't know how staff could work in those conditions. The blaming of residents for bugs and mice even though resident lived bug free for 1.5 years before bugs actually showed up in their room . But showed up after they gave resident another dresser to use in their room.. another resident who lived in room with mice dropping every where. So bad when the resident moved lost everything bed ,desk, clothes, personal belongings cause all their stuff was so badly infested that most had to be thrown out and what might be salvaged placed in storage cause could not move belongings into a new clean place. I just hope the owners take a step back and realize these residence are not just a money grab, a room to fill, but a person ,who come from all walks of life. They are the precious loved ones of families. That come to their home believing the name that they (healthylife) will be taken care of respected and that knowing that some residence it might be the last place they call home.. That their place feels like home where they don't live in their room in fear of being yelled at or feel like they did something wrong all the time, that someone shows them compassion and care ,understanding and can thrive even with dementia. I pray they remember the words healthy life and what it means to people who place their loved ones in their care homes.

I visit often and I can say that the staff and owners make the environment very safe, professional and feel like home. The food is amazing and healthy, they have a beautiful must see garden. They provide BBq's and even had lovely Philippine traditional dancers perform for their residents in the summer. They meet each birthday and holiday with a personalized touch. My dad was seriously very ill when I moved him in, under their very special care he has flourished and his life has improved many times over. If you are looking for a place for your loved one, and if they have a spot available, I would strongly suggest Healthy Life.

I called when on the way, and was told that booking portal is only for people that have their family doctor staffed here. I've double checked - it does not say that anywhere. They manually declined our appointment while we were on the phone with them. They said there were only a few people waiting and to come down as a walk in. We walked-in and checked in shortly after 10am. After over an hour of watching people go in ahead of us that came in after us, I asked where we were in the queue. We were not in the queue at all. They said they would get her in next - which was another 25minutes and 6 more people ahead of us. They seemed very disorganized.

this is about the walmart clinic in waterdown, ont.. the all male older doctors are retired and…read morethey see it as a business for extra income.. it isn't about quality patient care with continuity but extra cash to support a lifestyle for which they are accustomed.. i would not go there for anything serious..maybe just a need for an antibiotic..anything serious like a hernia, or a torn ligament will be misdiagnosed has been my experience.
