But in the last 8 months, I have noticed a drastic change in the way they treat their patients. After doing everything they have asked me to do over the past 2 years previous to this one, all the sudden now I have issues. It makes 0 sense tbh. What I see now is they no longer really communicate with you but rather demand that you have Xrays and come back more often. I just showed my most recent x-rays to a new random dentist that I had never been to from this dental office. Then I went and got a third opinion and both of the new dental offices said the same thing after reviewing the x-rays and taking a look at my teeth. What they see are coffee stains and no cavities whatsoever. I was told to come back for 3 different fillings at this place as I had " 3 small cavities". But 3 years ago when I started here I had a few issues ( 4 fillings ) and they did it all in one visit in like 1.5 hours. When I asked this last time why 3 visits they told me "it would take to long" to which I replied how come? And was told that is just how they do things. To make matters worse they purchased a special toothpaste for me without my consent and tried to charge me $20 + for what looked like sample tube that they give you after every cleaning. My advice is to stay clear of the dental office at this place. They are just trying to bill your insurance and make as much off of you as they can.

She took the course of antibiotics and shortly after finishing she was ill again. This time they gave her an in person visit. They took labs and sent her home and told her they would need an additional sample. They said they would get back to her as soon as they had results. After another week they called on a Saturday and told her that she had a bacterial infection from food poisoning and then they prescribed more antibiotics. Within a few days she received another call telling her that she did not have food poisoning but that she had C.diff, extremely contagious and potentially lethal. This clinic is extremely irresponsible. I wouldn't sent anyone there under any circumstance. In January all of the Allina Doctors that practiced there left after a contractual dispute. The clinic did not notify ANY patients, they would simply say there Doctor was no longer at that clinic. IRRESPONSIBLE!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC!

The interior waiting room is large, clean and was decorated festive for the holiday with a tree. The particular PA-C I saw was Kelly Linnihan and she was an absolute gem. Kind, considerate and made me feel at ease. After she examined me, she printed me a sheet of my diagnosis and made sure my medications were ordered and delivered to the appropriate pharmacy. She even gave me her personal check out slip with her name circled and number to call back should I have issues. I was in and out quickly and my meds were at the pharmacy promptly. A few months ago I went to see Dr. McCarthy in Eagan. He works out of both Eagan and West St. Paul. I had a really bad toenail. After some discussion we decided to remove the nail. The process was much easier than I had anticipated and relatively painless. My toe feels much better. I recently went back to see Dr. McCarthy to discuss both of my big toes. He gave me a couple of treatment options. Again we were able to complete the procedure the same day. My wife has now also seen Dr. McCarthy for a foot issue. We appreciate both Dr. McCarthy and his nurse for their care. Our feet are definitely feeling better after a visit to our good feet Dr. McCarthy.

When I rang "their" number it's the central Allina number in Coon Rapids, who couldn't get hold of them (no one picked up) and couldn't provide me with a direct number, as the Coon Rapids telephone factory operates internally with only extensions. There is no number for this clinic. Blood work elsewhere, eg. Allina United Family Clinic, is usually same day and appears on MyChart. Apparently the African American lab staff also have to deal with racism from patients who don't want their blood drawn by black people. Go anywhere else. Adding this: I found out a few days later that they hadn't billed the blood tests to my insurance, and consequently I got a bill for $$677.29. This necessitated me having to create an account with Quest Diagnostics and go and enter insurance information there. It's still pending. Results didn't take the usual day, they took a week to receive and only after I'd registered and entered insurance details with Quest Diagnostic. It was like Quest were holding them until they knew where payment was coming from. Results are not on my Allina's MyChart, meaning the feature where you can compare them to previous test results was defeated. I've been an Allina/United Hospital patient for years. My insurance details are already all in their system. There's just no excuse for this level of discombobulation just because i'd moved and thought I'd get my regular tests done at a nearer Allina clinic. I'll be taking the bus an hour each way to my former clinic rather than go through this again.

To my surprise after driving around for well over 45 minutes not finding this supposed building assuming it clearly doesn't exist. I had even stopped into woodwinds hospital just to be told that I need to drive around to the other side of the building. Because the "renta cops" there could not help me. They refuse to walk me to neurology. Needless to say, I never found this "1875 Woodwinds" address. It CLEARLY doesn't exist! This appointment was made 5 months ago. I'd like to know why the hell I was never notified that this building / address is not in existence! I better NOT be getting charged for this appointment either - because that won't be getting paid! Unprofessionalism is completely ridiculous! (even stopping inside SEVERAL nearby businesses, asking for directions) So apparently I just have to continue living in pain and agony with my feet. Feeling like I'm always walking on hot broken glass, puffiness, redness, hotness and falling and being off balance constantly. Oftentimes I even have to walk and use a cane to stabilize myself enough to balance to even try to walk. Dr. Burgeson has made a form of medical care that was previous exclusive to the rich -- i.e. concierge medicine -- and made it available for everyone. One of the many things I love about Dr. Burgeson is that I can visit with him via Skype, text message him when I have questions, or just send an email (I usually hear back within an hour or two). Finally, I love that he really makes the time for his patients. My first visit with him was 1.5 hours, and most of that visit was us just chatting about my health goals. And because of the way he runs his practice, when you visit him you're usually the only patient there. I wish I had found Dr. Burgeson earlier. His practice is the anthesis of everything wrong with our current medical system. Finally, I wanted to comment on the 1-start review left on this page. I'm pretty sure that review was intended for a Dr. in Memphis Tennessee and not Dr. Stephan Burgeson in St. Paul, Minnesota. Everything about that negative review is just plain wrong. Especially the part about Dr. Burgeson "only caring about the money." Indeed, if someone were only in it for them money there's no way they'd choose to independently growth this kind of business from scratch; it's much faster to grow a medicine practice within the existing system, with insurance payouts, etc. P.S. I should also mention that the Dr.'s assistant, Jenni, is also fantastic. They make a great team.
