Aspen has seen me at my worst. I've walked in there with eye infections, uti's, sinus infections,…read moreand I'm sure something else extraordinarily attractive that I'm forgetting. Despite being crabby (almost) every time I'm there, everyone is kind and willing to do their best to get you better. The building is spacious and clean and there's plenty of (free!) parking in the lot. It's fairly easy to get an appointment unless you're trying to get in to dermatology. The wait list on that department is ridic, but that seems to be a common trend throughout the state. Their urgent care hours are wonderful and I've never had to wait more than 30 minutes to see someone...which is priceless when you're uncomfortable enough to haul your ass down to urgent care. There was one doctor I saw here that I was less than thrilled with, but for the most part they've been pretty good. I wish the clinic would insist that doctors make follow-up phone calls...there seems to be a "no news is good news" policy on test results. Hearing from a doctor makes me feel like he/she really paid attention and with Aspen being quite large, they need to take that extra step to ensure patients feel like a person and not a number. Sometimes the doctors/np's can seem a bit rushed. I find it helpful to come in with a list of questions I'd like answered or anything extra I'd like to point out. Don't be shy about speaking up! Their time is valuable, but so is your health. Patients can register for an online account that keeps track of your past appointments, doctors you saw, test results, etc.

When I visited this clinic for my annual check up I felt like the cleanliness of the facility, the modern design, patient -doctor and medical staff treatment, and ease of maneuvering through the different clinics were phenomenal. It was a combination of going to the airport without the hassle and the customer savvy style of the Apple Store. I literally had my mind blown because I was very impressed that staff were required to wear uniforms like airline staff. I was assisted at check-in by the staff who took my picture with the Microsoft surface and then gave me a badge to wear while I waited to be seen. As I waited - which was not long at all, I noticed that they had a complimentary refreshments station with coffee, tea, hot chocolate etc. At every turn I was impressed. Then when I went to get labs done I received a buzzer, similar to what you get at red lobster or Applebee's when you wait get notified that your table is ready. I was in and out of this place in no time. Loved the efficiency and hope they maintain this high level of service. P.s. They also have a cafe!

They also have shuttle service to nearby apartments. Beautiful artwork displayed by prior patients. All around it is just a great place to be if you need to have something like this done!

Located across from the Keys Cafe on Lexington, the signage and parking lot are large making it easy to navigate. The interior waiting room is large, clean and was decorated festive for the holiday with a tree. The particular PA-C I saw was Kelly Linnihan and she was an absolute gem. Kind, considerate and made me feel at ease. After she examined me, she printed me a sheet of my diagnosis and made sure my medications were ordered and delivered to the appropriate pharmacy. She even gave me her personal check out slip with her name circled and number to call back should I have issues. I was in and out quickly and my meds were at the pharmacy promptly. Thank you Kelly and Entira Como!

While I was there, Dr. Rossmiller had taken a few minutes to remove a splinter from my finger for which they billed my insurance company $377 as a "surgery". I am on the hook for $354 of that. I called the office saying I felt this was excessive but they would not downcode it. This feels predatory to me. Now, I'm filing an appeal with my insurance company.

For approximately the same price as the high-end iPhone (including a case and apple care), you can get personalized concierge medicine. Dr. Burgeson has made a form of medical care that was previous exclusive to the rich -- i.e. concierge medicine -- and made it available for everyone. One of the many things I love about Dr. Burgeson is that I can visit with him via Skype, text message him when I have questions, or just send an email (I usually hear back within an hour or two). Finally, I love that he really makes the time for his patients. My first visit with him was 1.5 hours, and most of that visit was us just chatting about my health goals. And because of the way he runs his practice, when you visit him you're usually the only patient there. I wish I had found Dr. Burgeson earlier. His practice is the anthesis of everything wrong with our current medical system. Finally, I wanted to comment on the 1-start review left on this page. I'm pretty sure that review was intended for a Dr. in Memphis Tennessee and not Dr. Stephan Burgeson in St. Paul, Minnesota. Everything about that negative review is just plain wrong. Especially the part about Dr. Burgeson "only caring about the money." Indeed, if someone were only in it for them money there's no way they'd choose to independently growth this kind of business from scratch; it's much faster to grow a medicine practice within the existing system, with insurance payouts, etc. P.S. I should also mention that the Dr.'s assistant, Jenni, is also fantastic. They make a great team.
