Excellent Long Term Care Facility…read more My dad had been here 6 months now. The rooms are wonderful, very nice and homey, not hospital like at all. The household set up provides great care. We are there for food service quite a bit, and the food is great. There are so many choices and they work with each patient to get them what they desire no matter how picky they are :) The regular staff is wonderful, very caring. They make sure my dad is eating and strongly encourage him to go to the exercise class and events no matter how grumpy he is back to them. He needs a lot of care going to the bathroom and they have great patience. I have always seen him treated with respect. I have seen some delays in getting medication but not excessive (we were changing a lot of things) , and it may have been due to communication with hospice. We had one issue with mistreatment from nursing staff and it was handling immediately and correctly. They seem to have a wonderful physical/occupation therapy room, well staffed, but my dad was not up to that so I can't speak on that. I would definitely recommend this to others for long term care. It is a bit pricey for the area but the facilities reflect that cost.

My stay at The Springs was a nightmare. The facility is severely understaffed and the staff they…read morehad was, to say the least, unprofessional. There were times that I would wait over an hour for pain medication. The food was awful, mostly carbs and very little protein. They also lost several items of clothing in the laundry.

The rooms are cheerful and the care top notch. It is the little touches that make this so special. Mom was welcomed from the moment we arrived with a welcome sign and a lovely plant and staff coming by to greet her and introduce her to others. They made her feel special, like they were waiting for her to arrive. My Mom lived at Sunrise the last few months of her life. It was hard to have her move out of our home, but Sunrise couldn't have been more wonderful to her. It offered her a nice social life, my Mom was always the life of the party! She enjoyed her friends and finally engaged in a sport, Balloon Volleyball (I think the first sport activity she ever did as an adult). My Mom loved to eat out in restaurants and the dining room was run like a restaurant with a multitude of items to order. The food is good and they were accommodating with special requests. The staff is amazingly kind and truly seem to care about the residents. Jen and Stephanie are the main administrators and they lead a wonderful staff who took great care of my Mom. I would love to name them all but it is about 80 wonderful people!

The units are home-like, and residents can use the kitchen for baking cookies or whatever strikes their fancy. Nice library, hair salon, ice cream parlor, etc. It seems to be a well-run place and it's cheerful.

Cordia is a wonderful place!…read more Our culture is such that mothers expect to remain in the house of one of their daughters until their death, however my house has stairs and is too dangerous for my mom. She was resistant to being anywhere but with family so moving her to Cordia produced a lot of anxiety for her. Thankfully, the wonderful staff at Cordia - from the lobby workers to the maintenance workers to the amazing dining room staff - all worked their magic to make her feel treasured and safe. Personally, I see that the staff at Cordia are very satisfied working with the senior residents there. I engage in conversations with them and am grateful for their kindness and respect for the residents and for each other. Cordia has a wonderful line-up of daily activities and they also have special activities for holidays. I'm super pleased to see my mom engaging in different activities that she never had done before Cordia. For example, I used to try to have her do chair workouts with me but she had always refused. Now at Cordia, she's down in the workout room at least 3 times a week!!! I think Cordia has given her new life! She was always very anxious about food owing to issues with onions and other spices, but has had no problems at all since at Cordia. She loves their food! I'm very, very pleased with Cordia. I highly recommend this senior living facility!
