I worked at Columbia for about six months and that was the worst six months I ever had in my life , Columbia treats their staff member so poorly! We were always understaffed and always treated like crap from other staff members including the MOT!! Which is known as janitor people at Columbia Elementary School!! I was a yard duty at that school and seeing how many kids got bullied beat up on and in fistfight at such a young age and that school never did anything, no follow through no punishments nothing just sent right back out to recess!! it disgusts me!!! I saw so many concerned parents because they had no idea what was going on at that school because the school does not inform parents about anything!!! Usually at an elementary school it's three strikes you're out when it comes to discipline I have never seen a child control the teachers so badly in my life just because his mom and dad worked at that school!! I also worked with a few elderly people that were so beyond kind hearted and we're poorly treated like garbage! The janitors also like to walk around and say that it is not their job to pick up garbage and to do janitor things! My main concern here is that there has been so many staff members children, parents that have been concerned about their kids in the school and everyone contacts the superintendent for help and the superintendent will not do a single thing about anything!!! The principal at that school don't even get me started with that one I have heard her say so many mean things to children telling children to shut up telling children they're stupid I have no idea how that principal is a principal!!! I will continue to post bad reviews so people can read them and see how the school is and they can continue to take my review down but I will continue to post and continue to get it out there because this school draws so much concern to me there's so much more in depth that I would like to say but that would be cutting into children's privacy and I would not want to do that for the privacy of the parent and the children!!! By far the worst school ever!!

We had talent shows, plays and the most amazing Halloween Carnival every year. The stage became a haunted house, created by the 8th graders. It was always so SPOOKY! Especially to me as a little girl. Once we became big 6th graders, we had the opportunity to participate in ski trips every Wednesday to Bear Valley. How many schools provide that? It is a great elementary school and I'm so fortunate to have had the opportunity to attend.

The teachers are all so wonderful with the children and so cute and fun activities everyday! My daughter loves going to school everyday. I couldn't ask for a better place to teach my child. My youngest will be going there in the summer. They make it so easy for working parents by having flexible hours days and a app of pictures and messages to keep you in the loop of what your children are doing. I highly recommended it to any parent that wants their child in a fun creative loving and educational environment.

We called at the end of last year to put our kids on the waitlist. We thought we were good. When we…read morecame in to tour the school towards the end of the day at the beginning of this year, we came in towards end of the day and waited for awhile until other parents were done picking their kids up. Then, we were told that we need to come back another time because they didn't have enough staff as some of them were sick. (That's fine but I wished they either gave us a call, as a courtesy, or told us right away to come back another time). We called them another time and were told we have to submit the paperwork to put on the waitlist (I wish they told us earlier) and decided to give them another chance and came back another time to give them our application for 1 of our kid. We knew the waitlist was long and came back another time to give them another application for our 2nd kid. As of now, we haven't heard back from them. Of course, we were lucky enough to find spots at other daycares who accepted 2 of our kids. However, we felt like we were profiled and ignored. That's quite unprofessional. I talked to another parent who had good experience with this daycare but we did not.

We also learned some very important school readiness skills, like how to use scissors, hold a pencil and playing well with others. The preschool teachers were so nurturing and caring. Mountain Play School was a perfect preschool experience.
