This is a review not of a place of worship, but of the charity bins that rest in its' courtyard. I'm sure 98% of people that donate clothing to clothing bins do it in much the same way they buy the Big Issue or recycle the mountains of unnecessary packaging they purchase- to appease the consumer guilt that we all bear to some degree. Hence the odd socks, dirty knickers and other horrors I'm sure charity bin sorters endure on a daily basis.
The bins at St Patricks prove my point. In any weather there is always mountains of crap piled up outside the bins, as if people think, "I went to this much effort to bring this stuff down here, buggered if I'm going to put it through the slot on that bin as WELL". The result is that there are often piles of wet, soggy clothes and toys rendered unsaleable piled up outside the bins when the bins are empty. I know they're empty because I often come by & shove things through the slot if it looks like rain.
