But instead of him helping her with our relationship to keep us together, he was trying to divorced my wife from me even when I asked him to stay away from her many times he continued talking to her, he knew my wife was going thought a tough time in our relationship and from the position that he holds he should have offered assistance or referred her to someone that could help her because he was not in the right position to help due to her situation, pleased be careful with this evil behavior, he likes to talk down about church people and I can said who he talks when he used to go to my house, this alcoholic ,or isn't this true Daniel ( because to me you're not a priest anymore) you just to to eat and drink the best tequila Don Julio, many times I send him messages to stop looking for her but instead he was trying to take advantage to have a better life planning trips alone with her expecting her to paid everything obviously ,and he never had the nerved to apologize, please people be careful don't never leave you wife alone with him, and he knows that what I say is the truth I have proof of the exchange of texts messages between them in whatsup many times when he calls me a paparazzi and horror because I was behind them all the time, if you guys want to know more feel free to contact me,I don't have nothing to hide anymore about him,please tell me what priest takes your wife to a Mexican band concert with out my consent and brings her back at 3:00 am please stop goin to him if you really want to talk to God do it somewhere else for your own good!

Elizabeth Seton is a large parish that includes a regional Catholic grammar school supported by four different parishes - SS. Julie, Francis, Seton, and Stephen. As a community St. Elizabeth Seton has a vibrant number of ministries and a rich liturgy each week. These include a Seniors Club, a Men's Club, a Women's Club, and a number of individual events such as Men's Club Fish Fry during Lent. I was very disappointed…read more Also, I have to say that I was appalled that the two priest who presided over this funeral mass NEVER had a face mask on. The deceased died from Covid and was cremated before the services. Once he went in the hospital his loved ones never saw him alive again. He was in the hospital approximately 2 weeks. This catholic church told them they could not have a eulogy for him. I found this heartbreaking for everyone. The family, loved ones, extended family and friends needed to hear a eulogy. They needed these words from a loved one or someone to add closure to this. I have defended my Catholic church over many controversies over the years but I think this is a disgrace. I can't forgive this. Could they not allow 10 minutes for a eulogy?

The Priests here know the faith and are not "push overs" for people who want to be more liberal in the way the Mass is celebrated. I attend the Latin Tridentine Mass here and the people who attend that Mass are very warm. The Mass is also celebrated at times as Ad Orientum which is refreshing for a Novus Ordo Mass. I don't live in this Parish but I travel to get here so that I can assist at a reverent Mass. So if you want true Tradition and reverence in a Mass, this is the place for you. God bless the Priests in this Church! Update: There is a new pastor at this parish. He does not know how to say the Latin Mass. He doesn't even help distribute holy communion because he does not know the Latin prayer to say during the distribution to each person. The only Mass given Ad Orientem is the Latin Mass. None of the other Masses are given ad orientem. I feel this parish is going backwards in terms of the way the Masses are given/said. There are no altar boys for the Latin Mass but it is in the works for some boys to be trained to serve on the altar at the Latin Mass. It's a good thing there is at least one priest who just learned the Latin Mass and he hopes to get better at saying the Latin Mass. So please pray for Fr. Matthew.

Vehicles exit the parking lots at three points onto 183rd Street, resulting in significant traffic congestion and backups during peak times. I strongly suspect that no comprehensive traffic management plan was submitted or approved for this configuration. The church should implement improved traffic control measures to address this issue. In its current state, I seriously doubt an emergency vehicle could navigate through the resulting congestion efficiently.

The people make the church and should have a say in how the money is used . They should also have a say in who their lead Pastor is. The elders along with some others seem to have no reguard for Pastor Ted and his family. He brought so many people back to the church along with new people who heard about him. So many have already left and some are no longer supporting financially! More are talking about leaving. You can be sure if Pastor Ted and his family stay here so many will follow him. This was a delightful little Catholic Church in Homer Glen, one that we'll be sure to return to in…read morethe future. While we suspect that this church was originally a Joliet Diocese parish, it is now administered by the Augustinian Friars (OSAs instead of diocesan priests) along with the parish named Our Lady Of Good Counsel (considered a sister parish). In any event, the St. Bernard's parish and ministries were very nice. We were out and about and looking for a Catholic Church Mass one Saturday and happened upon St. Bernard's. It is a smaller church - along the lines of 500 to 600 seating - but one that doesn't lack for service. Since it is just off 143rd Street, you may have to look hard for it. We enjoyed the 4:30 Saturday liturgy, the Pastor who celebrated the Mass (Joe McCormick), and the people we met while we were there. This was a wonderful community that is bent on service rather than pomp and circumstance...we loved it. The physical layout is somewhat like a figure eight - one circle of the figure being the church proper, and the other circle being the common area where parishioners can meet and greet - on the day we were there it was set up to host an Italian Dinner for the parish. All in all this was a nice layout that was more attuned to the parishioners than the religious trimmings. About one mile away (on Parker Road) the parish has a building for the Religious Education classes and the rectory - both of which are planned (hoped) to be consolidated into the main church grounds (via the Goodings Grove school property) in the coming months. Inside the church part, there are no pews - only chairs, no kneelers - padded or otherwise, and the whole feel is that of a community closer to the basics than the trappings of office. It was a nice feeling. While a bit on the small side, this parish community has a lot to look forward to - the least of which is a growing and prosperous community. Recommended.

There's some amazing people that attend and God will always move where His people call on Him. However I would advise people to be cautious getting involved. We've seen many people chewed up and spit out, and I don't want to see more people get hurt.
