We were visiting family in the area and found this church in Kennett Square which was very convenient and had four masses on Sunday. They start at 7:30 and are every 90 minutes after that. I would estimate that this church can hold about 350 worshippers. We were at the 10:30 Mass and it was mostly full. I would say that the service was very traditional. There were two altar servers, a deacon and the priest as well as a Lector, a Cantor and two Eucharistic ministers. It's a very pretty Church, but there's no real parking lot. There is plenty of on Street Parking just be aware that the main streets in Kennett Square are one way. I thought the priest did an excellent job with the homily and the congregation was very welcoming. read more

The pastor fashions himself a philosopher and comedian but falls short of both in his homily. He knows his parishioners though but did not go to the cemetery for a burial on a recent funeral, sending a Eucharistic minister instead. This church is easy to "miss" as the original structure is on the same piece of land on the north side of the current structure. If you are following your GPS, go past the cemetery on the left and the new church is the next set of driveways.

I also have got to witness my only brother re-dedicate his life back to Christ and get baptized again. Our new Pastors, Pastor kirk and Shianne Pearson's our absolutely two of the most spirit lead caring/loving individuals I have ever met. They truly live & have the love of Christ in their hearts. They took over as the new Pastors in 2022 when our old existing Pastors Steven and Barbra Harvell retired. I love this Church!!! God made no mistake when he sent us our new leaders. There has been an amazing number of men, women, young adults, teens, family's giving their life to God each week. There is a spiritual powerful connection being apart of this church. I can not even being to explain the blessings, opportunities for my business and miracles that have happened with myself, family and members connected to the body of christ here at LOCC. This is my home and these our my Pastors. I pray every body gets to experience the love of christ, because the moment you walk through those doors, you feel it!

This church has a good representation and is trustworthy and actively supports the community. In fact, the state of Delaware comes to them for help. The pastor doesn't take ANY money or offerings from the church because he has his own money and he is a self-made millionaire. These people don't represent Christ or his followers and are going to church for the wrong reasons. They are not edifying the body of Christ but are being critical and acting like the devil.

Typically we go to Mass here when visiting Pennsylvania. Congregation is friendly but not what I'd call welcoming. Could be it's so large that people just don't know each other.
