However it is where the Aldinga Community Centre is. There are toilets, including disabled ones, and water available. There is a kids playground on one side and a tennis court and a garden, presumably for the community centre. Around the far side near Ryan Avenue there is a dog agility course with tunnels and things to run up and hurdles. It's cool, even without a dog! There's also dog bags available on the fence. Over the Stewart Ave side there is a dirt BMX track and also a large skate park facility. Plus all around the oval area there are fitness stations. Looking by the size of them they are made for adults, way too high for kids. There is also a nice bright playground looking structure my child ran to saying "another playground!". I looked at it kind of confused for a minute then told him I thought it was actually part of the fitness facilities and not a kids playground. Lots of poles and climbing things but really high. Although they then had a couple of little ride on spring pieces of equipment in the same spot as well. There was also shelter and at least one BBQ I saw. Plenty of parking on site too. A good place for a day out with all aged people, but bring extra stuff like scooters, skateboards, balls, etc. to make it even more enjoyable and not run out of things to do.

You can find shadey spots to sit around under a tree in various places on the reserve but no built shelter and nothing close enough to the playground, so take hats and sunscreen! Apart from that no toilets but there was a great drinking fountain. And the playground was pretty cool. It even had a wicked little boat in it. Would be a good one to make use of if you live nearby.

However there was a BBQ near a table and chair setting under a shelter. Plenty of parking and right by the beach. A nice playground too with a small fence near the side that was closest to the roadway. Nicely landscaped but am guessing it's pretty new and there is basically no shade, other than under the shelter. So definitely bring sunscreen and hats. Possibly go for a play then let the kids go for a swim in the beach if it's a warmer day. The playground itself is really cool and has heaps of different stuff to the usual playgrounds with the beach theme incorporated. There are bark chips underneath all the play area.

And it has been developed like a centrepiece to a whole heaps of streets that connect to the reserve. There was some shade, tree's, shrubs, paths, small hills to create more privacy to different area's. Plenty of room for ball games without having to limit yourselves. No fencing or toilets, in fact I didn't even see a drinking fountain. But it is always best to take your own water anyway if you plan to stay out for a while. There were really two playground area's, one with just bark chips covering beneath it and the other had bark chips but also had rubber matting directly under all the play equipment. There was some seating in the shade close to the play area's. This reserve also houses the Aldinga Scouts. Right next to their fenced off area there is probably one of the best BMX tracks I have seen. It is dirt but it is larger than other ones around and has some quite big jumps. Would keep my teenager occupied for quite a while I think.

This was quite a nice park area to stop at when we were out the other day. It has a small dirt BMX…read moretrack with some jumps built for kids to use. It is away from the other play equipment so less chance of accidents involving people not riding. It is actually bordered by Quinliven Road, Customline Cr and Skoda St. There's some parking on site as well. There is an old building on one side. There's some nice play equipment with items being well separated with bark underneath. The best thing was the huge spider web type climbing frame. There was also what looked like a small cut out for a river or creek but there was no water in it at all when we were there, nor anywhere where water may come from to fill it. Would have been 4 stars but no toilets and no drinking fountain I could find anywhere - which is really quite odd nowadays. Oh and the beetle is a huge concrete built piece with pretties all over it. Something different and my child actually played on it and the walling around it for quite a while. Sometimes the oddest things keep them amused!

Plus there is heaps of parking off the road. Wow, I'm making it sound better now. But seriously check out the photo's. The playground is literally pretty much a slide and a swing or two. There's no shade anywhere! Plus it looks NOTHING AT ALL like the artist's impression (which I had to take a pic of as well). However it is a great big space. You could play plenty of games on the area easily and without annoying others. It would be nice if you went to the beach for the day and having BBQ's and toilets an water nearby it would make for a great package deal on a day out. But on it's own, solely as a park and reserve space, it only gets 3 stars. The package would bring it to 4 stars.

This is a reserve that goes a long way through in between the roads. However this is the part where…read morethe playground area is. The rest is pretty much reserve, tree's and pathways through it for riding or walking along. The playground itself has a rather newish looking play area which has bark chips underneath. There is a separate double swing area the other side of the pathway also with bark chips. Then a couple of springy sit on toys on the grass. There is also a table and chair set under a shelter. With a 3 on 3 basketball court just behind the playground and near the seating area. I did not see a tap or fountain at all, which surprises me a little here. But it is a nice area with plenty of trees and far enough back from the road to be a little safer than some.

There was a really nice functional playground, without anything broken, plus best of all most of the playground itself was in full shade from surrounding tree's, at least in full shade all afternoon. There's also a 3 on 3 basketball area behind the swings. Plus a shelter with table and chairs not far away. There is a bin but I did not spot a drinking fountain, which is odd for a park like this one.

It would make a…read morenice day for a family gathering where there is inside and outside space, if you bother to hire the hall. Plus the hall has toilets inside. However there is also a small playground at the rear of the area, with some shade. There is plenty of parking. There is a tennis court availale for public use as well. And it's a quite nice tennis court, not a dodgy one like lots of places with uneven surfaces. There's also a drinking fountain, table and chairs and a BBQ, but the seating and BBQ are in full sun.
