Mrs. Carol is my favorite person alive!! She is so sweet, kind, fun, and loving!! I was so lucky to be in her class for 2 years (1st and 2nd grade). I totally recommend this church if you are looking for a place to find your love for Jesus Christ this is the place. One more thing Cole will make you moved every time he preaches. He brought me to tears one time because that was the time that I knew I wanted to represent God for the rest of my life!! -Karter Blackwell

His messages are…read morealways applicable and relatable, rooted in the Bible, and always something to take with me through my week. He even makes his sermons and sermon series fun, and he will have us laughing just as much as crying from how touching they are. We gave the Connect Groups (Sunday Schools) a try, and we were welcomed with open arms. We have never really attended Sunday School before, and we not only liked it, we soon grew to love it and our group. We are talking normal, hardworking everyday people with all the hardships that life can throw at us, and it is great to be able to share all that with a group that doesn't judge and focuses on encouragement and gives me strength. There is active program for someone at any stage of life, and our family has truly grown as Christians and closer together. My husband got baptized and was even allowed to baptized our oldest daughter... we have kids, and we can say something wonderful about the programs for each age. Our baby loves the preschool programs and Mothers Day Out school. We even had a snowball fight in the middle of summer?? Fellowship that is so fun! The youth program always has something going on-- Mission trips, fun activities, and lots of opportunities to help out our church family. Honestly we had steered clear of churches generally that have "contemporary" services because I can be picky about the music as I really like church hymns (I know, it's weird), but the music is awesome and a great mix between hymns and contemporary Christian praise songs. We just can't write enough positive things about this church and all it's aspects which I can't even cover here.. I have grown so much as a Christian personally during our year of attending this church. Yes!

The praise and worship is wonderful there. I felt the Holy Spirit during this time only. However,…read moreas soon as the pastor starting preaching Prosperity Gospel, I knew something was wrong and I left. He spoke about meeting with Jessie Duplantis (a prosperity Gospel preacher) and then I knew he was the same. Sewing seeds refers to the Gospel being told to a person and that the truth of the Gospel growing in one's life, not about tithe or offering. Tithe and offering is in obedience and is a personal decision between God and that person. It is wrong and heretical to associate sewing seeds with money. Yes, it takes money to run a ministry and tithing and offering help support the finances of that ministry, however, a seed of faith in the Word is referring to growth of a personal walk with Christ, NOT how much money you give to the church! Also, pastors are to live humble lives and not extravagant lifestyles in serving the Lord. Their focus should be on the spread of the Gospel, NOT lining their own pockets (like Jessie Duplantis). This church because of this I believe is under the judgement of God. Unless they stop preaching the "prosperity Gospel" where you give to receive, I believe this ministry will stop. Please pray for this church that it will really line up with the Word of God.

Don't know if this was because of the special Divine Mercy procession right after Mass or if it's like that all the time, but I did notice they have a building fund going for a new church. This parish ministers mostly to the Spanish speaking community. There are 5 Spanish Masses on Sunday and one in English. The congregation was respectful, the preaching was edifying, the choir was joyful and the liturgy was celebrated properly. I sat down in the back. Afterwards, the congregation meeted and greeted each other and people introduced themselves by name to me and I did as well. The pastor spoke about Peter and his relationship with Jesus. He compared Peter vs. Judas in both finalities and the major different results. There were several baptized after the preaching. Praise & worship was at the end. I liked the service, however, I noticed the audience was not (for the most part) engaged with the praise & worship. They were rather toned down in their expression. Not Charasmatic. I saw one person raise his hand and a lady upfront was expressive, but that was it. I think that the leadership needs to encourage more participation by asking people to raise their hands during worship. I think they need guidance in this area. I did feel the Holy Spirit there though.
