This is a non-domination church but they have several activities. The grief share is absolutely a wonderful class to attend if you've lost a loved one the videos are very helpful and it definitely helps. You understand your grief, the ladies of class were very great. It was definitely a very nice way to deal with my grief to have people that understand that I've been there and know what it's like. It definitely help me deal with my grief more better than I thought I was this is a great church and they have services on Sunday two different services, very great church very great establishment. They also have groups you could join women's Bible study men's ministries and much more if you're looking for a new church I would definitely recommend checking out Granite Springs Church of Lincoln. They are awesome and they are non-domination a lot of people don't understand what non-domination means it means basically, they're not a Christian church they're not Catholic. They're not Jewish. They are everything so that comes in handy especially if you have family members that aren't all the same religion this accommodates to all of them very great establishment very friendly staff very great place to check out thank you, Granite Springs Church of Lincoln. I definitely enjoyed the Greek share and help me understand my grief better than what I thought I was dealing with it. Thank you again and I will see you again very I will see you very soon. Then another day they did a tribute to Charlie Brown or whatever his name is, and the whole service was about him. I don't know much about politics, and some people don't even know who he is, like me. So I searched for him online and saw he was a racist politician... and the church was praying for him and honoring him. Like, seriously? I was gonna leave because i thought they might change the subject but no! It lasted all the way until the end and honestly, that's why I ended up feeling disappointed. I'm not trying to be negative, but church is supposed to be about God's word, not about politicians like that. Sorry if this bothers anyone, but the church really shouldn't be getting into politics.

If you are looking for coffee before service starts, it's available in the front lobby. Inside the sanctuary, there are plenty of seats that are angled to allow a good view of the stage. The pastor and staff are all so friendly and are quick to greet you with a smile and a warm handshake when you walk into church. Service starts on time with the worship/singing time. It lasts for about 30 minutes. The worship team is awesome with guitar, bass, keyboard, and drums. The music is good but I think that maybe worship time is a bit long. The pastor's sermon is good and it seems like for some people, if a sermon goes too long, that becomes a dealbreaker. I don't mind long sermons if the message is good and easy to listen to. I don't have a problem with the length of the sermon. All told, it was about 1 hour 15 minutes from start to end of the service. What I do notice is that a lot of people show up late, after service has started. For me, I always get to church before service starts because I don't want to be that guy that walks in late. I guess, better late than never when it comes to going to church, right? I really don't have anything bad to say. It's a nice church to go to and we're still debating on whether we want to call this church home. Definitely one of the better churches that we've attended on a regular basis.

And that one person just so happens to go to this church so her words and what she says must be infallible and 100% the truth? I'm thinking that if this involves children which it does, my two little ones, that if there happens to be a claim of abuse taking place towards them no matter what form it is, whether it's emotional, psychological, mental, which are just as harmful as physical, that a pastor of a church would want to get to the bottom of it and find out what's really happening. Isn't church a place where you go in times of need or you need help! Aren't churches a place where you go to put families back together? I dropped off my son one Sunday, at the church then went next door to work out. I just wanted to see my daughter. I guess it's the only way I'm allowed to, is through binoculars 100 yards away. It's been 2 years since I've seen her. I still to this day have never been told what I've done wrong, what I've done to her or either of my little ones. Last time I saw my daughter, she was sitting on my lap, along with my boy, and I was fixing her hair and she was talking about bobba tea. Nothing wrong at all, I was loving my kids. Since then I haven't seen her. How does she now say she hates my guts and never wants to see me again? I can't see then on Christmas, Easter, birthdays, nothing. I can't even call. Two Christmas's ago I went to their moms to bring them presents. I heard their mom tell them, hide you guys, it's your dad. She never answered. I told our kids that I Iove them and wished them a Merry Christmas. Left the presents at the front door and left. On Easter Sunday, I had a big bag of candy and plastic eggs. I knocked and wanted Their mom to help me fill the eggs for the kids, but she didn't come out, never answered. I filled the eggs myself and hid them in front and under the stairs of the apt. I had 2 big Easter baskets filled with all kinds of goodies. I knocked again and said I'm gonna wait to see if you change you mind. So I waited 15 minutes and knocked again and said that I am now leaving please be sure to have the kids come out and get the Easter egg baskets and stuff so they don't get stolen. As I was walking away about halfway through the apartment complex I hear my last name called. And it's only one kind of person who addresses you by your last name, and that's the police. I wasn't yelling or screaming or being irate in any way. So Easter Sunday I sat in the back of a police car for an hour for hiding some Easter eggs for my kids and bringing them Easter baskets. On my daughter's birthday I got a cake and flowers for her. I was there for 10 minutes and got no answer so I lit the candles and started singing happy birthday to my daughter and she let both of them out for about 3 minutes. I went over there one time to see my kids and they were getting ready to go to some dance so I asked their mom if it's okay if my son hangs out with me for a couple hours and I'll be back after the dance is over. It took me a minute but I finally convinced her to let him go with me. 15 minutes after I left she called the cops on me and tried to report me for kidnapping. I'm not perfect, I try my best to be a good dad. The whole time I've been divorced I have had someone trying to destroy that relationship between my kids and myself. They have been told things like what I say doesn't matter, that they don't have to listen to me, that they don't have to do anything that I asked him to do, that my mom is not their grandma, that my brother is not their uncle and that she wishes I wasn't their dad. I have told her for years that she will not be happy until she gets our kids to think about me the same way she does. With hate. We were married for 10 years. I made mistakes, so did she, There's no blueprints for being married. We couldn't seem to get along so we went our separate ways. Nothing at all had to do with our kids. My kids were never neglected or abused. Sure, I had to get on their butts every once in a while, what parent doesn't. This isn't some new story that no one has never heard before, but yet everyone wants to play stupid about. But to have a church just completely ignore it, and I'm just the bad guy, and she goes to the church, so she must be telling the truth, then tell me let the courts deal with it, (which shows complete ignorance of how the family court works, and an

Blessed to call this Home!!!…read more We moved to Roseville and attempted to enroll my, then, incoming Second Graders at St. Clare's Catholic Church but were met with an unwelcoming, rude director, who said she 'can't help us, if we don't get the MONEY, application and Baptism Certificates in by Friday' as the applications for the program were closing that week. I had explained we had just moved in July and she simply said it was 'open since June'. What a disappointing experience! First Communion was done at Capitol Christian at Christmas Service instead. In the months to follow, God connected our family to Bayside Church Adventure, where we met a community of loving individuals who brought us in and welcomed us! We felt so loved and felt the love of God everywhere! Everyone was positive with love, joy and compassion with no judgement or condemnation. As time endured, my family got involved with various Ministries and we are now spreading the love of God to others through these Ministries on a daily basis. Bayside Covenant Church @ Adventure has been such a gift to us. Never knew God and never fully accepted Him until starting the Christian Journey, initially at Capitol Christian and later finding our Home at Adventure! God Bless Bayside Church; thank you for being there for us!

That did not happen: Bayside leaders messed up big time - they did not say a prayer for Charlie Kirk's family or at least have a moment of silence to honor his memory - I left sad and heartbroken... My friends said even Catholic Churches recognized Charlie. Bayside worship leader and pastor did nothing to honor a great Christian who was martyred - I watched the memorial service on YouTube and was so touched... I haven't been to church for awhile, so the visit was truly disappointing- from worship being a performance (overly loud music, lights and video on side screens focused on drummer, etc), this was clearly not about Jesus. Too many inconsistencies in pastor's message, from saying there's true evil in this world and then saying that it's also in all of our hearts: speak for yourself dude... Pastor even joked that he was giving a Ted talk - yeah, it felt like rehearsed speech that he's getting paid for, I didn't trust his words like I believed Charlie Kirk; being a young man trying to find God - I was quite disappointed, didn't feel like this church cares about me.. At one point the pastor said that we're all selfish and our circle of friends are people who like us: does he want us to surround ourselves with people who hate us? Besides few welcoming faces at the entrance- no one came up to chat or cared enough to pray for me. I won't be back and can't recommend this church. I'm sure some churches actually practice what they preach- but not bayside leaders - they are woke liberals, as I'm sure many members are here... From 2005-2020, I served/volunteered and donated a lot of time and $$ to Bayside - no pastor ever recognized my service and donations(even Ray Johnston or Kurt Harlow whom I met) and I came to realize that this liberal mega-church business model is focused on raising $$, not care about people - it's truly a disappointing and heartbreaking experience.
