Even more difficult when it's in reference for the passing of good friend, a Yelp-buddy at that.... THE SETUP My friend of 20 years, Ron L., was a vintage musicologist and (like me) a New Wave dance fiend. So it has been difficult in recent years watching as his health deteriorate due to a syndrome beyond his control. Upon his passing, this church family opened their doors so that we - Ron's family and friends - could memorialize him, both in memories and music. FRIENDLY & WARM The church has a really nice lay out with a large chapel and an adjacent multi-purpose room where we were able to potluck a wake for the attendees. RELECTION The décor and vibe of the church is one that lends itself well to meditation and worship, and from what I understand the chapel is open most days for those wanting (needing) to come and reflect. PARKING I think it goes without saying that a large, free lot ANYWHERE is a plus for any institution, permitting congregants and attendees alike some hassle-free parking. Their church service is held in the main sanctuary; the Sunday school class is separate across the way in a classroom, I believe near the fellowship hall. The sermon started with praise and worship lead by the choir, announcements, prayer, and sermon. The sermon was on the book of Timothy. The sanctuary is huge with balcony seating, a coffee area to purchase a cup of Joe, a bookstore, and children's area. I felt at ease and comfortable, the church community is inviting. Also, Noah's Ark Ukraine Mission is their efforts to bring hope and love to the Ukraine.

We were trying the usual suspects in Roseville and Rocklin and there was a lot of good teaching but just couldn't get plugged in and connected. Our daughter was 10 at the time and getting her to be excited about going to kids service on Sunday's was challenging for a myriad of reasons. So with all of that said we found a great spot in Rocklin but our daughter wasn't happy. I suggested that we give a local church a try since we live in CH and were well received the first day that we came in and our kid loved the service and made friends on day one. The people are real! No pageantry! Just real people experiencing Jesus! So come as you are and prepare to have an encounter that is real and tangible! This church has shaped our lives in a very profound and meaningful way! We have a small group that we host in our home (which I never thought I would have been one of those people) and we volunteer with the junior high ministry which is great to see you people getting love and support and positivity. I've been coming here now for over a month…read more I will never forget Pastor Kyle from my home church The Crossing last year sharing he was called to another state. Tears fell and I just remembered praying for him his family and the new journey. I was sad when I began to go to church and it was not the same and my grandkids there mom didn't feel the same about it. I began looking for a church since than. Over 3-4 months of giving other places a chance. We were hoping to stay close to natomas because I wanted to be sure my grandkids still stayed involved. Sadly we weren't finding a church to call home. I dropped to my knees and prayed God would direct my steps to find the right place for my family. A mom who has lived 5 years of grief and knows the understanding that surpasses all understanding a volunteer in our church for the kids teenagers and knowing God had a plan yet not known. I knew my nephew was going here and told my husband let's give it a try. Immediately the day I came was different it was not the normal service usually had but it was full of prayer and God spoke to me to get up and pray for my 26 year old younger friend who started with a migraine to short term memory not lasting more than 10 minutes. I was able to pray over my grandkids and the season my family is finding our new home. Service is blessed you feel God here. Truly God sent moment they were super understanding and reflected Christ like character making sure I was safe . After they prayed I felt a lot more at peace!!!

Special needs families are comfortable here and make a connection quickly. They facilitate many classes, including grief, Bible studies and many fun programs for children and teenagers. And I had a good feeling about the services and I meanness as a church attending individual for over 40 years . But I've only spent a couple hours there and the people seem genuine and I want to see down the road if I continue to go back there . I kind of want to talk to the pastor a little bit to find out where they stand on healing and other Supernatural manifestations . Including speaking in tongues . And one other sign that isn't a supernatural manifestation but that's baptism of both by water and the Holy Spirit .
