The Crucifix at Mark Church in Highlands Ranch

Since attending St. Mark Catholic Church in Highlands Ranch since 2020, I have considered it my home parish. The pastoral clergy, staff, and ministries have enriched my faith, leading me to a deeper understanding. The parish is a thriving community, offering various programs and volunteer opportunities that cater to individuals of all ages and stages of their faith journey. I am involved in several ministries and appreciate the clergy and staff's dedication. St. Mark has been a blessing to my family and friends.

Welcoming and warm people! This is a friendly church with…read moresolid biblical teaching. The age range is intergenerational including young families and Seniors. If you visit I am sure you too will be blessed.

Living Way Fellowship is a very outward-focused church environment. I've attended a lot of churches…read morewhere the vast majority of the events and spending went to benefit the church's membership, without much attention to the local and global community. At Living Way, this is not the case! A huge portion of the church's spending goes to international missionary families, to local non-profits such as the Alternatives Pregnancy Center in Denver, and a Christian school that they helped build in Ethiopia. The fact that these financials are published in the weekly bulletin offers a refreshing dose of transparency and accountability. If you're looking to feel connected at your church, then Living Way has a lot of opportunities in the various ministries - but you have to work at it. It's hard to find where you fit if you don't already have friendships with people who are involved here. People will, for the most part, leave you alone unless you put yourself out there. The thing that keeps me coming back is the preaching. Pastor Peter Henderson is one of my favorite preachers of all time, and the guest speakers who fill in while he's out of the country are always similarly high in quality. The messages are Biblical, thoughtful, and challenging. It's hard to walk out of a service without feeling both affirmed in who you are right now and encouraged to grow - at the same time!
