The reason being is that it is a suburb but it has really tall buildings. Well, that isn't all that uncommon these days, but back when I was a teenager (or at least in my early twenties) it was. It sort of made Sydney to feel like a real city. As for the station, well it's pretty cool, and quite large as well, and the trains come by quite regularly as well.

It's well lit and easily accessible…read moreto malls, eateries, Wooly's, the chemist, etc. It services different trains, buses, and taxis that go to the North Shore, the City, and all other essential destinations. Departure times were prompt and the interior is surprisingly clean, despite the amount of foot traffic that this station gets. Maybe I'll move out to Chatty and utilize this station more!

There's a train station, a Woolworths, Asian grocers, sushi restaurants, The District food court, Tim Ho Wan, and a million other things besides. You could spend your life in here. Pull up a stool at the Steam Engine and watch the world go by over an extra hot soy latte.

It's a significant development which has come to demonstrate that Chatswood is gaining in importance as an alternative business environment to the city. The key to the interchange is the introduction of a large number of useful shops beneath Chatswood station - Coffee, eateries, asian ice cream vendors and major supermarkets like Woolworths. It also provides walk through access to the existing Chatswood promenade with additional shopping, bars, and restaurants. Three residential towers are scheduled for completion, housing 550-odd apartments. The expansion of Chatswood has really just begun!

Chatswood Chase shopping centre is also within walking distance. Sebel Suites is modern, pristine and run efficiently. Location wise, it's convenient but doesn't have beautiful views unlike Darling Harbour and other popular areas. The hotel is comfortable and the staff are accommodating. Sebel Suites also offers long term accommodation. There is plenty of public transport nearby, making sightseeing very easy. Parking is also available (at a cost) and is great for those who have driven interstate or who have rented a hire car.The hotel/apartments are not suitable for a romantic weeknight. My family and I stayed here for a week or two upon returning to Australia after 9 years living overseas. The central position allowed us to visit family and friends, go house hunting and do odd jobs. It was a little expensive but was very convenient. We could also do the shopping and with plenty of entertainment nearby, we had lots to do and see. Sebel Suites is most suitable to those conducting business in the North Shore area. The hotel is also a short 15 minute train trip to Sydney CBD. If you want a view, it is best to book a room on the top floors. Otherwise you will most likely have a view of the train station or other high rise buildings. Within our apartment we had a washer and dryer which was a major positive. The rooms were also very spacious.

Ok I will be honest with my review: I live in a Premier…read morestudio (the most expensive and biggest one) in a high floor 1-Premier Studio Condition: In a good shape (7 out of 10) some miner scratch and marks on the walls and kitchen floor. 2-Premier studio space: As a female, I found the overall space is "ok" for one person who is not planning to invite friends over. There should be more dresser. The fridge space is just enough for one person weekly food. Kitchen drawer inadequate as there is a whole drawer unusable because it designed for the kitchen fan above the stove. Room space is good for one person. 3.Additional home applications provided free by Iglu: Iglu will provide you with;Vacuum cleaner, a broom, cleaning pot, iron and iron board, kettle and toaster. TV with some free channel 4-What i think the benefit of living in Iglu? As a master student, i found Iglu very good choice for someone who is only staying for 1 year and 3 months to do their degree and go back home. This save time and money of buying furniture for apartment. -Train station, big grocery stores "woolworth", and other shopping, mall, clinics, and banks are 3 to 10 minutes walk from Iglu. So close to everything. -there facilities for residents such as cinema,study room.. Etc (i havent use any of them so i cant say much). 5-what disadvantage of living at Iglu: -the A/C (air conditions) is not a real A/C! You have to options (heat or fan): it got very hot sometimes and you cant control the A/C other than turn it on or off, choose hot or fan. -Iglu has a control system where the A/C will turn off after 3-4 hours. So every morning around 6 or 7 am , i wake up the room so hot and i have to get up, walk and turn the A/C again. -Each person is allowed 15 G of internet per month NOT per week. There is options to upgrade to 40G,100G, or unlimited. I upgraded for unlimited for additional 60$ per month. 6- Cleaning Tips. My studio was cleaned by the cleaning team, but to be honest. I didnt find the studio clean in some area. For example, There was mold under the bathroom sink, and there was mold on the bathroom fan and a bit on the bathroom seat, abd a little mold on the toilet seat. I re-cleaned the bathroom by myself and i removed the mold and spread Dettol "germs/bacteria killer" all over the bathroom and the whole studio floor. ((It is really really important to clean your place vey very well when you move on, to avoid any hygiene and health problem)) the person who lived in my studio before i moved on, he or she clearly very unclean person who didnt clean the studio regularly, (the mold is proof ). Also look under the bed, i found female pants, so disgusting!! I throw it and spread some germ and bacteria killer. I dont blame Iglu for this but i blame the unmoral and disrespectful person who left her pants behind! So for your health dont rely on Iglu team cleaning (yes they did their best) but look into invisible area and clean them.
