I can't tell you anything but my story & you be the judge. My 2 children started in Nov 2018 and it…read morewas fine. Feb 2019 my daughter moved to another room where she was definitely neglected. I've walked in on her down for a nap on a dirty cot( o was told it rained the day b4) no excuse for that! When I got my daughter home she had wood chips in her pamper (at home she's fully potty trained) They refuse to take her to the pot! Her clothes were being changed 3-4 times out the week because they said she was peeing out her pamper! They don't wipe runny noses. Even took photos of my daughter knowing I didn't want photos taken even worse didn't clean her face for the photos. My heart hurts for my children because I trusted them to care. Now I get the cold shoulder when I come get my children which makes it very awkward, but that's very unprofessional. I thought they would use my concerns as a coaching to improve care not make it difficult and force my family out. OAN if your looking for incident reports to know when your child hurt themselves you won't get that either! Good thing my son can talk I picked him up from care with busted lips and a scratched eye and had to ask my son what happens then the teacher will verbally explain

Coming from a overprotective mom: This place is amazing! The owner, staff & even the kids are…read moreawesome. I know when I drop my son off, he is well taken care of, well fed, plays hard & has learned so much just in 1yr of being there. I knew my child was a bit delayed & had inherited certain learning disabilities. The staff recognized it & suggested the birth to 3 to help him get to where he needs to be. The combination of the daycare & birth to 3 has made a huge impact in so many ways. The staff works with my son & has embraced his silly & sometimes goofy ways. They have also helped me in many ways too. Learning & growing is not just for the child but for the whole family. I can't express how much we both love this place. The education, the care, support & awesome fun like art..... so worth it! Every morning, my son is eager & happy to go to "school." That makes me happy & makes me feel safe knowing he is in great care. Thanks Kids Clubhouse!

I am about to share with you one of my greatest, dark, geeky secrets that has been locked away…read moreuntil recently revealing my NFL membership to a fellow NFL'r/yelper- Percival N (sorry for outing u bro!). So the National Forensic League is a nationwide organization that supports speech and debate competitions and...looking back in my days of adolescence i think of contributing factors that have led me to be the man iam today...without hesitation being an active member of the NFL is one them. Rather than spending my time afterschool partying with friends and kissing girls-- i spent countless hours in Libraries researching and preparing for various competitions like- Oxford Debate, Lincoln/Douglas, US/International Extemporaneous, Dramatic Interpretation and others. Most of the events took place on the weekends and usually ended in "afterparties" or hanging out w/other NFL heads. So it was through this outlet i learned that the dorks, geeks or nerds were actually the hardest party animals. What better way to balance off strenuous intellectual combat than with some swigging of tequila, whiskey, or other mixed concoctions. I learned the vital life-lesson of picking a poison (vodka or tequila) and gaining an immunity to it. Now after thinking about this more what the NFL was during HS days is kinda what yelp is for me know-- a gathering of cool, intellectual, informed, (more)attractive, peeps sharing in a bit of release of day-to-day experiences- umm yeah, but emphasis on the getting butt-drunk ugliness and geez how do you all handle with the constant mixing of drinks people????

It's frustrating that for…read moreapproximately $200 a session (4 sessions a year) your child is taught by coaches who walk around deck fiddling with their cell phones or giving only certain children their attention. I sit and observe most practices and other parents and myself have noticed this. The coach for the younger children often criticizes children who are struggling but I've never seen her actually get into the water to help them. Communication is terrible. Emails from my child's coach are almost always unanswered. However I know she gets them because she refers to them to my daughter. Even when I've attempted to discuss issues with the head coach my emails often go unanswered. Face to face is a joke-both my daughters coach and the head coach look annoyed when you ask to speak to them. Apparently they do not care that my fees pay their wages. This is our last session. I am no longer willing to pay $800 a year and volunteer my time at events when it is obvious that the FSC does not appreciate its members or families.

I didn't feel like the courses were very challenging and I certainly didn't feel like I was pushed to reach my potential. I obviously cannot speak for everyone across all majors, but my experience was that it was a joke of an institution. Because this is a smaller school, there is no campus life, there are few clubs and few options to build your resume. I was expecting a challenge and I was expecting them to help prepare me for a career in law enforcement. I remember going to the writing lab to have them look at my resume, and they didn't know how to fill one out. I remember asking my advisors about applying for jobs and interview prep courses or seminars and they just got confused. It became apparent to me that the place was barely functioning as it was. That being said, I did have good experiences and did take some very interesting classes, some of which included Native American Literature, Psychology of Women, and Religious Imagination. Even though I had this shiny new degree, was a military veteran as military police, and had completed an internship with a local police department, I was never hired as a cop. I instead went back to school at a local technical college and got hired immediately upon graduation, and saved $75,000 in the process. Would I recommend Marian based on my experience - No, I would not.
