I am about to share with you one of my greatest, dark, geeky secrets that has been locked away until recently revealing my NFL membership to a fellow NFL'r/yelper- Percival N (sorry for outing u bro!). So the National Forensic League is a nationwide organization that supports speech and debate competitions and...looking back in my days of adolescence i think of contributing factors that have led me to be the man iam today...without hesitation being an active member of the NFL is one them. Rather than spending my time afterschool partying with friends and kissing girls-- i spent countless hours in Libraries researching and preparing for various competitions like- Oxford Debate, Lincoln/Douglas, US/International Extemporaneous, Dramatic Interpretation and others. Most of the events took place on the weekends and usually ended in "afterparties" or hanging out w/other NFL heads. So it was through this outlet i learned that the dorks, geeks or nerds were actually the hardest party animals. What better way to balance off strenuous intellectual combat than with some swigging of tequila, whiskey, or other mixed concoctions. I learned the vital life-lesson of picking a poison (vodka or tequila) and gaining an immunity to it.
