The property is massive and I'm convinced the architect was a die hard Harry Potter fan because several of the class rooms are on the second floor but they don't have a traditional second floor. You literally take specific stairs up to each specific classroom. Feels like a Hogwarts castle and I'm taking certain stairs to the castle towers for classes. Haha! Other than the property feeling like a Harry Potter fan designed it the place is huge and the staff are superb!! They even have a cafe inside, like a full blown cafe like Starbucks (but not Starbucks). Churches are so subjective to what's great and not so I encourage you to visit and determine for yourself if it's a good fit. Definitely a God filled church in my opinion.

God is doing the great work!…read more This church has literally changed my life and the lives of my family members. God has lead us to this place a long time ago back in Christmas Eve 2012 and 2013. I had no idea how God will use this church in our lives! The story begins when I was very little around 9yrs old and my parents were looking for a church to go to for Christmas Eve (the year 2012). I secretly hoped the church would have the steeple. And yes it has a steeple! We then came again in 2013 Christmas Eve and then started coming regularly on Sundays in 2014 and so on. Throughout the years we meet such amazing people God has put into our lives. The leadership is amazing and there are no words to describe how awesome and amazing God lead us to this wonderful place. Walnut Hill Community Church is a second home. Everyone is like family and welcomes you no matter what!!! During my teenage years, I started volunteering at the church's cafe. After many years of volunteering this lead me into wanting to pursue in the foodservice industry. Walnut Hill Community Church in Bethel is great for those who want to volunteer and find the gifts that God has given each every one of them. The Lord has lead me to discover the gifts and talents He has given me, through years of volunteering with the cafe and food pantry. So many of us can. share testimonies of how God has used Walnut Hill to change our lives. I'm currently still volunteering with the cafe during the week and involved with the special needs ministry at the church which has grown so much! Like me, if you're looking for a place that understands and knows about special needs, Walnut Hill Community Church in Bethel, CT is the place for you!!! Everybody is Somebody! I don't know any other church that really gets involved with special needs ministry, but Walnut Hill, they do such an amazing job of supporting individuals with disabilities and their families.
