It's not toasted. It's grilled and I used six napkins to try to get the grease off. Absolutely the worst BLT I've ever had in my life. The nurse was somewhat friendly but professional. She did my vitals and had a young man take us to the very back. #25. After waiting for 30 minutes, the doctor and scribe came in and assessed my issue. He looked at my foot noted the swelling and I told him that it was my middle toe was where I had the most discomfort. But somewhere along the way communication was interrupted. The Registrar came in and completed my intake then told me that the nurse would be in with my discharge and I told her that I have not received an X-ray. I was about to be discharged without an x-ray. The x-ray tech came in -was professional. Next a different nurse came in nurse came in with meds. Shortly afterwards, I was told one thing by the discharge person and my paperwork stated differently. No treatments given. He said light compression with an ace bandage and ice (wrapped in a towel) 20 minutes in and off. Just x-ray, meds, and ithen the door. Crush or broken injury vs just a soft tissue issue. Two different things. I'm still in pain & it's swollen. I don't want meds to pacify me. Just wanted tools to assist me with my healing process. I'm highly disappointed. Do better. I gave a higher star rating due to the young lady in the front... just to be clear.

I needed something to help my pain & did not bring my medication with me! These doctors don't care about our pain we lay there & suffer for hours upon hours. The ER doctor was very friendly I would give him a 5 however the people that draw blood & do IV's are completely incompetent! The first phlebotomist couldn't get my blood since he didn't know what he was doing! So I was sent back out into the waiting room. One of the male nurses used the ultrasound machine on me in & was digging into my right arm where my elbow bends for a good three minutes that was unsuccessful! Then he tried again in another area in same arm further down to draw blood & get my IV & blew another vein! He gives up & Im done with him!!! So I wait for this rude nurse to come in that twisted my left arm & I repeatedly told her I have a torn rotator cuff a she is forcefully twisting it to lie flat to get blood from my wrist! She's like well we have to get your labs let me look while she's jerking my arm around! I should have got up & left against medical advice immediately reported her for patient abuse! Then when she was drawing my blood with the syringe she is using force like she just didn't want to be there! Next time I am getting my husband to video these people every single one of them!!! I spent 6 hours in that nasty place! The PA doctor & discharge nurse were the only ones that were kind to me!!! The rest of them need more training!!! You don't keep digging & digging & digging if you can't get the vein then leave it alone!!! I have an EGD & colonoscopy & Neck surgery in September as well as my shoulder surgery when that heals & because of incompetent nurses that keep digging & blowing my veins you are all ruining my veins. You are leaving me with no good veins!!! If I could score lower than a 1 I would!!! I was supposed to have the contrast with my Cat scan but because nobody can do Iv's even with an ultrasound machine which is pathetic! They could have missed something crucial because there was no contrast. I needed that IV! I told my husband if something happens & I die then he knows what to do. Don't get me started about how dirty it has gotten since they have remodeled it!!!

Nearly 4 years ago I had my son here and we had a really great experience. The doctors and nurses were attentive and did a great job communicating with us. I was surprised at how good the food was! They have a lot great meal options which were prepared well. My only complaint during this stay was that there was never any down time or time to rest. Even with a do not disturb sign on the door the staff continued to knock on the door and come in to collect trays or try to take professional pictures (basically a lot of unnecessary visits). My father had a triple bypass there this week and I can't say enough about how great the experience was (given the circumstances). He was in the CCU for 4 nights and the nurses were phenomenal. The care they gave was exceptional and they spent a lot of time laughing and joking with my dad which he loved. Being in the hospital is tough and no matter who we came in contact with, whether doctors, nurses, kitchen staff, receptionist, etc, they always made a point to smile and say hello.
