Attended a Celebration of Life/Funeral ceremony for a well loved parishioner of Christ Church…read moreEpiscopal in Exeter, NH. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful. The Pastor delivered a personal touching warm eulogy and welcomed others to the altar to do the same. (And there were many.) The large chorus delivered beautiful music that reached the hearts of all the attendees. It is obvious that the parishioners are one large family. A beautiful goodbye to a beautiful man was delivered on that day which gave a special comfort to all his family and friends.. Kudos to all and to the Christ Church Episcopal. Thank you.

The Star of the Sea Beach Chapel is located on Route 1A Southbound, parallel to the beach/ocean…read more The Beach Chapel has weekend mass during the summer months, generally from May 1 through October 1. Parking is off street and an issue during summer mass. If you think of arriving late to the Chapel, don't plan on it because there will be no place to park. Inside the Chapel, seats can fill quickly, so it is suggested to arrive early enough for a seat. Speaking of the seats/pews, they are not modern and very uncomfortable. The kneeler does not raise up and is bolted to the floor, so it becomes a common tripping hazard. The pews are more or less benches, and very uncomfortable. If you have difficulty kneeling or not comfortable with a small seat, you will be best to stand at the back of the Chapel. One warm days during the summer, the Chapel gets warm as well. There is no air conditioning, other than the ocean breeze. If you see a fan off, turn it on please. This Chapel is located in a good spot, just not enough parking for all the parishioners. Check the church website for the Seasonal and Off season schedule.
