I came here to visit my Dad while he was in the ICU before he passed on Thanksgiving Day this year…read more Although my Dad had to be moved from being on a ventilator, being in the ICU, being in step down care, etc., I can't say enough good things about the staff that I interacted with at Hillcrest. From the time my Dad called me to tell me that he was diagnosed with Stage IV colorectal cancer to the day I saw him in the ICU was exactly one month to the day - and he was dead just a couple weeks later. The staff answered my questions without beating around the bush which I appreciated. While my siblings and I were very pragmatic about our Dad's prognosis, my Mom and my Dad's extended family weren't taking it so well. My mom was at the hospital 24/7, sleeping in a chair in my Dad's room to be by his side. The staff were incredibly gracious and kind to my Mom. They let all of the family filter in, pray, talk, etc., for as long as they wanted outside of shift change. While I was out of the country on the night of my Dad's passing, a few of my siblings were there and they let me know that the staff allowed more than 2 people at a time to go in and sit with my Dad's body for a few hours to grieve, which I know my family appreciated. The only drawback for my visit to Hillcrest was that the cafeteria was rough for gluten-free options as a celiac. I went an entire day on just a bag of Cheetos from the cafeteria while I sat in my Dad's room. If I needed to stay longer at the hospital, I would have had to order safe food from outside of the hospital. Overall, my interaction with security, nurses, interns and doctors was fantastic in such a stressful time that I didn't have much time to prepare for. Visited: November 2025

I'd rather be here than ascension emergency. And how convenient it is to make an appointment…read moreonline. Not my first rodeo. I've always found the personnel friendly and professional. Also I've always noticed the cleanliness. However, this time they sent me to Ascension emergency.

The doctor was a cool dude but hindsight, kind of wished he had insisted more on me having X-rays…read morewith my other injuries to ensure I had no fractures but overall no issues with the doc, he was friendly and knowledgeable. Problem was my nurse. She gave off the persona of a lost careless sloth, slow, no sense of urgency and w/o much interest to how well the job was performed nor idea of what she was really doing. Maybe she was new or was end of day & stopped caring. Regardless not okay + everything took multiple tries like my heart rate, blood pressure, and most importantly gluing the cut on my head, which is what I went in for and never got 100% fixed. After being glued up by the nurse, went into the car and realized I was still bleeding. Went back in for a touch up and by then the office was closing so I had to leave right away. When I went home I still had a section that wasn't glued up and all the blood ended up dripping out of that opening. Could have done better myself with some glue from the drug store while concussed. After resting for a day, my shin had began to hurt really from when I fell backwards down some steps stairs after my head impact. Went to a hospital to ensure no fractures, which they confirmed was just a bad bruise. Wish I had gotten everything done with one visit instead of having to go to the hospital less than 48 hours later and waste a bunch of $$$ and time. Think a few of their 5 star reviews are also fake. I did but go here because it was close to where I got injured & of the high rating on Yelp. They also have offices in Michigan where I'm from so thought if I needed to go back it would have been easier. Needless to say I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you need a script or something from the doctor and not any assistance from the nurse.

Apparently I haven't updated reviews for urgent care. And sad to say I'd like to apologize for that…read more2017 review. But I remember it well and stand by it. However, times I've been there since have been quite different. Unfortunately I was there again last week. I thought I'd broken a rib and, after about 12 rays, they assured me I did not. The nurse practitioner(I believe) was kind, empathetic and displayed complete competence in her abilities. She put a rush on getting the X-rays read. Their X-ray technician has been there forever and that says something too. The facility is immaculate and the staff, as I said, was competent and empathetic. I got in quickly, having made an appointment online. Be advised. And when they called to advise of radiologist report, they apologized that "that happened to you". So many complaints about not seeing a doctor. My experience proves this to be incredibly unjust. I've talked at length many times w/ PAs and NPs and APRNs and they are thoroughly competent. Give them a chance and don't go by the letters.

I wish I could give zero stars if possible. I just walked…read moreout of there with my autistic brother who is incredibly ill. They charged him $75, and Lyndzi Knight the nurse practitioner, did not really ask him about any of the symptoms. He asked her for a doctor'a note and she rolled his eyes and was incredibly unprofessional. Instead of asking questions about symptoms she just engaged in debate and was incredibly unprofessional and condescending. They charged him $75 for the visit even though she provided zero healthcare. And then they charged an additional $16 to give him a doctors note. Can you imagine not providing healthcare, charging somebody, and then charging them an extra $16 for a note saying that they were sick to their employer? Absolute trash service, trash healthcare. They just made almost $100 in cash plus whatever they're gonna collect from insurance and provided zero healthcare. Do not use this clinic. And this will not be the end of this interaction we had with this nurse or that clinic. We will look to get channel 6 news involved, the Better Business Bureau, and hopefully this sorry excuse of a healthcare provide provider's superiors involved.
