I have been going to this Animal Health Center clinic in Sikeston for at least 13 years. I have…read morespent many, many thousands of dollars at this clinic with my 3 dogs. I had my dog in there today for an eye problem and to get her yearly shots. Everything went fine until I got home and realized I did not have the rabies tag. I called the office and the male that answered the phone told me I did not get any shots today. I said yes I did. He read off the list of what was done. He said I was confused and my appointment for shots was scheduled for the 17th of Oct.. I said yes and she got her yearly shots also today and he disagreed with me again. He told me no she didn't and started to read the list again. What an attitude he had in his voice. Pretty much called me a liar and made me feel like I was trying to get something for free. When I interrupted him he said do you want me to go ask the vet. Before I could answer the phone went dead. I called back and a lady answered the phone. I asked if he hung up on me and she said no, he went to the back to check. Again making me feel like he thought I was lying. Come to find out it was proven I wasn't lying because the lady checked and it wasn't put in the computer. I still owed for it. I went back over and paid after they put it in the computer and got the tag for my dog. It could have all been avoided if this man would have checked before he ran his mouth and pretty much accused me of lying. That is the last dollar, after spending thousands of dollars every year there for the past 13 years that these folks will ever get from me. All because an incompetent employee with an attitude. My 3 dogs will never darken your door again.

MOST IMPORTANTLY I took my 15 month old baby to get spayed. And when I got home I noticed her tooth was missing. She was born with 2 extra baby teeth, one fell out on its own, the other we were keeping an eye on. The next day I was brushing her teeth and noticed it was gone. We searched everywhere! When it was nowhere to be found. I got a strange feeling that they pulled it, or knocked it out, sure enough, looked at the bill, Tooth extraction $6! Not only did they NOT ASK, THEY DID NOT TELL ME!! I noticed blood on her face while still there at the vet office , and I even commented on it, that would have been a good time to tell me, OR when she was going over the bill and just happens to SKIP that part!! Uhhh... I just assumed the blood on her face was from the surgery, maybe someone moved her head with a bloody glove on. I have kept every single one of the teeth that she lost. She is my baby!! She's not just a dog to me!! I'm furious! All they said was.. Well, I'm sorry, it was loose so we pulled it!! I know it was loose KAREN... I've been keeping an eye on it!!! And if it was so loose they deemed it an EMERGENCY.... (That's the only way they should done anything without my consent) (I'm an RN that works in surgery and have for 13 years).. WHY did it bleed enough to stain her face with blood if it was so loose they pulled it without consent. Wanna know the outcome? No discount, no nothing... Just Sorry, I don't know what you want us to do. They did not even offer to reimburse the $6 they charged me to pull the tooth that I DID NOT AUTHORIZE!! $6 is not much but the money is not the issue! My baby gets her teeth brushed 2 times a day!!! I knew it was gonna eventually come out, but I was going to put it in her baby book with her other baby teeth. I can't even think straight I'm so mad!! Do NOT go to this vet!!!
