Although some procedures could not be practiced due to physical distancing, what was missing was filled in with thorough videos and explanation from instructor. Abhineet did a wonderful job in creating an open environment that was conducive to learning skills for CPR and First-Aid. He was attentive and eager to answer all questions. Would highly recommend him and the program for anyone looking to become certified.

I booked my CPR course with Hand2Heart on September 2020 for my nursing program. I had some family…read moreemergency a couple days before I could attend and emailed them to let them know I had to cancel, explained the situation and asked for a refund. They refused to give me a refund but advised me I would have a credit with them. I accepted it since I knew I would be returning to my studies when what I had to deal with got better. August 2021 I rebooked since finally I was able to return to my studies and needed to get this course done, but unfortunately a week after I booked, I got sick with pneumonia and knew it would take time for me to feel better so I emailed again to reschedule for another date (in a week or 2) when I knew I was clear from my illness. I did a covid test and was negative and my doctor confirmed I had pneumonia. Not thinking it would be a whole issue, I emailed and explained what was going on. Instead of being understanding, I was met with "Please review our policies when cancelling your course. The first transfer is free, the 2nd one results in rebooking again. You booked last year, then cancelled. You rebooked and now are cancelling again". (Exact words from the email so they wanted me to pay twice). I didn't understand the issue. We are in a pandemic and before covid, I would never leave my house knowing how sick I was. I would've thought I would be treated with more consideration and kindness since I was thinking about the public and their staff, but nope. Now the tune has changed and they want to allow me to rebook after countless back and forth, but I have to go for another covid test (which I already went and didn't leave my house when I was sick, also got confirmation from my doctor that it isn't covid but pneumonia). I refused and I'll cut my losses. Since the beginning, they have refused to refund me back due to some "policy" that isn't made known right away, but good business practice would be to work with your customers and be reasonable. I didn't cancel because I didn't want to do this, I cancelled because I was sick. So thank you for taking my money and giving me 0 service.

If you're ever required to have First Aid/CPR/AED Certification, this is the place to go! I…read moreoriginally chose First Aid 4U because it was partnered with Red Cross (this was required for the job I needed the certification for) and it was really close to my house. I wasn't overly excited to do the certification but after the first day I was ready to learn more. I was slightly confused as to where the office was located but there is plenty of signage when you arrive at the location (the building across from Fanshawe College with Carey's and Marvellous 2 for 1 located inside). I had Sam as my instructor and he was AWESOME! He was very serious about the topics we were learning about but kept it enjoyable with some jokes and engaging our group with questions and discussion. He made sure everyone was doing the procedures properly and adjusted us accordingly if we were not. I highly recommend First Aid 4U if you need any training or certification. If you can, make sure you have Sam as your instructor! It won't be boring and you'll actually enjoy the experience.
