The Early Learning Centre at Peoples Christian Academy has been a literal godsend to our family. We…read morevisited 12 daycare centres before selecting this one for our child. Genny and Jada, the leaders of the centre, are superbly organized, communicate well and have a love, care and patience with the children that I can only hope to emulate as a parent. The staff are wonderful as well. They are well-trained and experienced, watchful and caring. Our child was in Doreen and Stephanie's class, and we could see her positive social and language development grow in leaps and bounds. They also potty trained our toddler and gave us daily updates on their activities. The ELC has a structured program for the children with age-appropriate activities, and meals/snacks are provided. But most of all, they developed in my child the habit of praying for each other and getting to know God. I am so thrilled that we found their early learning centre; it takes a village to raise a child and I'm so glad ELC was a part of it! (Side Note: If you are interested in enrolling your child at the People's Christian Academy for grade school, the children attending their ELC have preliminary access to register for the spots available before it is opened to the public.)

Schools located on a main strip tend to cause a lot of traffic during rush hour and causes issues for everyone. I never personally went to this school, but I have visited for pick up basketball and currently go there for a Volleyball League. The gymnasium is a pretty decent size with a stage along the baseline. The floors are well maintained by the janitorial staff. Unfortunately people tend to ignore the rule of no outdoor shoes in the gym. As a result of that the floors get really dusty and you lose traction, especially in the winter time. And art works from the students shown on the Hallway. We love them so much, full of inspiration and imagination. The music held in the stage, it was well organized. All the shows were by the talented students, some of them played guitar, electric guitars, piano, etc. We could tell they all love their instruments and spent so much time on their practice. School is not only the place to learn regular subjects, also introducing different types of learning. Thank you for sharing interests in school and making good friends together.
