He only attended for 2 months and I feel bad for letting him go that long. No structure, spoke poorly of my child in front of him with a different pick up person (whom they did not ask for ID) The 'director' and her daughter ate a pizza in front of him without sharing when he was the only other child there. He was crying when I picked him up that day. The staff also told me that he was doing well transitioning from partial days to full days.... he only ever went full days.. They clearly didn't even know which child was mine. He would come home and drink glass after glass of water because they wouldn't let him have any at the center and it was not accessible to him. They told me he needed to ask for water when I mentioned it. The owner all but laughed in my face when I brought my concerns to her attention. She seems very detached from what takes place at her business. I couldn't have been more disappointed with this place. If you value your childs health or safety, reconsider. There are better places with structure and compassionate teachers for more reasonable rates.

The teachers all have many, many years of experience, combined with boundless energy, enthusiasm, a love of learning, and love for children. Many of the teachers have advanced degrees, and they're clearly not there teaching for the little bit of money they earn -- they're there because they love to teach. The teachers are simply amazing and gifted. The building is small, but they make the most of it. They offer a Lunch Bunch class for 2-yr olds with a parent that meets once per week for a few weeks in the Fall and Spring, a 3-yr old class on Tues & Thurs AM or PM, a 4-yr old class on Mon, Wed, & Fri AM or PM, and a Mon-Thurs Pre-K class in AM for 5-yr olds. They emphasize hands-on, sensory-based learning through music, movement, stories, arts, science experiments, learning centers during free-play time, poetry, reading, pre-writing and many special projects, field trips, and guest teachers that you'd normally expect to find only in an expensive, private preschool. It reminds a little of the Montessori teaching style. It's also a very diverse place with students from all over the world and they welcome children with a variety of learning disabilities and developmental delays as well. It's a very accepting place. Unfortunately, the building is not handicap accessible for those in wheelchairs or walkers -- all students must be able to walk up and down stairs. Both of my children went here, each for three years and I can't say enough good things about it. My youngest child is finishing his last year at My School this month, and I'll be a little sad not being there in the future. It's a wonderful, fun, and nurturing place.

If you sign up with one booklet that states the rules be prepared for changes, and be prepared if you bring up a situation for there to be a new rule dealing with it. We had a 4 month period where additional charges where being added to our bill. We were told to check the bill and keep an eye on it. That is not our job. yes the charges were removed but only because we had to bring this up then all the sudden an addition to policies and procedures were added with that charge. I have been present when a parent came in asking why her child came home with a bloody fat lip. No phone call, or communication about it. Lastly we are being told how to raise our child. We are being told we should take our comfort item from our child and our child is old enough now she does not need that item. My daughter uses this item in the morning for the nap, which the children are allowed to take, then puts it away till the end of the day when we pick her up. While other children do not put their items away. I would not reccomend this place if it was the last daycare in the town.
