This Evolution in Ipswich town centre has been here for a long time. Now after all these years my kids go here to buy me presents for bithdays and christmas shows how times have changed but some things just stay the same. Obviously the items for sale have moved on with the times, they just sell quirky pieces that are not the same as everywhere else. They are a much more personal present something a little different. The staff are friendly and helpfull and will wrap items if you need them done too. There are a couple of steps in the shop but if you have a buggy they jump to help before you could even think of asking. A great place to buy that extra speacial gift.

I get quite dissapointed if I have gone into town and havn't had time to visit here. The clothes are just so cheap, no one can ever say they can't afford to clothe their kids with things this cheap. I am a bargain hunter and this shop is just full of them. Downstairs they have a massive choice of fashionable womens clothes form day wear to going out evening wear. They also have a wide selection of accessories, and underwear downstairs too. They have a large amount of changing rooms, but being as popular as they are they are normally full. Upstairs are all the gorgeous low priced shoes, the mens clothes which there is a big range of and all the childrens clothes. There are always sale racks with kids clothes at reduced items too. There is also a house section upstairs too and more changing rooms just for me, ohh get them.

Agricultural implements, cooking items, postcards, furniture, jewellery, fossils, china, silver - the list is endless. The centre contains displays froma numbers of different sellers, but you only have to pay once in one central checkout area. They do take cards and are very friendly. They also help load cars and will possibly buy your old antiques from you. There is plenty of free on street parking outside and it really is well worth a trip.

The building was made for the purpose so aisles are wide and easy to negotiate, even for wheelchairs. The range here is well worth a look - especially if you usually shop at Aldi. There are some very cheap 'high end' foods - such as in the fish freezer or in the deli part of the fridge. Staff are usually helpful, though always rushed. As is usual at these shops, they tend to throw your goods at you - so do be on your toes.

the village stores has recently undergone a bit of a refurb which was long overdue. unfortunatley…read morethe prices have now been increased to pay for it. also alarmingly i have watched their vans being unloaded after cash and carry shop and the food is just left defrosting in a pile before putting away - i have also had milk which has obviously been left out of cooler. an emergency shop but sadly owing to their incredible new prices i wont be shopping here much
