I haven't met anyone who isn't nice, kind, considerate, and invested in the school and the children's education. Our TK teacher is wonderful and we can see our daughter developing academically as well as socially. The school is situated in the peaceful Oakland neighborhood of Upper Rockridge and pretty easy to get to (and close to the Terrace Cafe, another perk). I"ll add that while I'm not a Catholic (my wife and children are), that has never been an issue. There are other non-Catholics who send their children there because they know they will be in a safe and nuturing environment. Lastly, I'm impressed with the students themselves. They are polite and considerate when I've interacted with them as a parent volunteer. I remember my Jr. High experience as pretty excruciating. When I look at the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders, I see well-adjusted and responsible young people by all outward appearances. I certainly don't see my Lord of the Flies experience. It's an special cadre of people and culture at St. Theresa.

We then heard of other neighboring families who sent their children to Treehouse more recently. At the time we were looking for preschools for my son, it was a no brainer to add Treehouse to our list of schools to look into. The director Jan gave us a personal tour, telling us about the different classes, their values and how they support the children through the days and the years. One thing that stood out to us during the tour was how calm and happy the children were in their classrooms! The environment seemed to be a good fit for our son - and 3 years of attending Treehouse we have had no regrets. The care, attention, learning social dynamics, and cognitive development have been fantastic. We'll be transitioning out of the preschool phase and will miss Treehouse greatly!

She is safe, nurtured, and so well prepared for kindergarten. I only wish my other two children would have stayed another year! The staff go above and beyond to work with parents, focusing on everything that matters most for this age group: being safe, loving school, and enjoying community. I am so grateful for my family's experience here and will miss it dearly. A great preschool experience during this important time in a child's life.

All the students are here to learn and the families all have similar values. Our kids are always being pushed outside their comfort zones and growing as a result. The Odyssey of the Mind had many parents involved as coaches for the kids and the kids performed so well in competition. A few teams from CCS even made it to the international competitions. Overall an amazing school with a nice campus, great curriculum and dedicated teachers and students. After the pandemic though they've lost some extra curriculum activities and I hope they can bring more of those back soon.

I really appreciate the teachers and their attentiveness to the students. The school offers a rigorous academic program that has well prepared my daughters for high school and showed them good study habits. The campus is clean, and the kids love the cafeteria food offered. The class sizes are smaller than public school, and the tuition is reasonable. I would highly recommend this school if you are looking for a safe place for your child to learn.

He tried to explain to them that he couldn't stand on his feet for prolonged periods of time and the dean of students refused to make any accommodations for him and also repromanded him for not going to a class that required him to stand for hours on end. They dropped him from other classes he was taking wid-semester and later reenrolled him. The first semester they didn't give him his financial aid until the semester was over, due to "forgetting to write the check" as they told him. The next semester they decided not to report him as a student to the VA for half of the semester, so he couldn't get his GI Bill and they took his finacial aid to pay for the classes he was attending instead of the GI Bill paying them. After bringing this all to their attention, we found out that although taking his financial aid money and him attending classes for half the semester, he was not even in their system as a student. This school has caused so much hurt and stress to my husband and family. I fail to see how this school can call themselves a Christian school when they can justify beating down on a disabled war Vet. Some of the teachers were pretty great but the administration was horrible to him. I do not recommend attending this school if you have any disabilities at all, because they will only make things worse for you.
