St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is probably the most beautiful church in the Fort Worth area, sadly, it is also our least favorite. This church is so large and noisy, it's just down-right distracting. The first thing we notice is that there is always a steady flow of people just walking around, even during mass! Next is the constant din of cranky children. Many parents, or at least those who seem to realize they have noisy children, wait in the foyer. However there are so many other parents in the nave, oblivious to the amount of noise their children make, it just amazes us... Are they not aware that there are others here too? I guess it's just due to the demographics of the area and that's what you need to expect at this church, which is why it's our least favorite. My conscience really can't go less that 4 stars, as a) it is beautiful and b) it will remain our backup plan when, for whatever reason, we can't get down to St. John the Apostle. read more

I decided to give this church another chance and I have to say that I like it a lot better than I did when I visited about a year and a half ago. I love the fact that even the 4 p.m. Mass on Saturday is pretty busy. (I would even compare it to a Christmas Eve Mass up north in Michigan, where I'm from.) Usually, I've always thought of the Saturday Vigil Mass is always the "old people Mass," the service that has among the smallest number of people in attendance. You have to get there at least 10 minutes early if you want to get a good seat. At first, I was annoyed by that. But now I have come to look at it differently and I realize that it's a positive sign of a healthy, thriving parish. Fr. Gary is friendly and personable and really seems to bring a transparent, welcoming spirit into the church. It's like a breath of fresh air. I also really liked the subtle incorporation of Latin into a couple parts of the liturgy and there are guides to follow along. It's a beautiful church that tries hard to imitate the architecture of older churches. New construction can't look exactly like hundred-year-old churches and sometimes it has an overall effect of looking a little gaudy, but I try to envision what this church will look like a hundred years from now. I think it will hold up better than the churches built in the middle of last century. This church is reverent and has a lot of positive things going for it. I'm still not sure that it will definitely be my home parish because it's more conservative than I prefer, but it's helpful to have an acceptable option close to home. read more

My family and I have recently completed RCIA and joined the Church at this parish. What an amazing group of strong, orthodox Catholics! The church is beautiful, Mass is quite traditional and reverent, and the priest and staff are staunch in their faith. No guitars or silly music here, thankfully, and no altar girls. It is friendly to women who veil, as well as parishioners who prefer to receive the Eucharist on the tongue and/or kneeling. RCIA does a wonderful job of clearly teaching the Catholic faith, with no concessions to modernism. I love my church, and feel so very blessed to have found Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton. read more

VERY NICE parishioners in a WELCOMING and FRIENDLY church enhanced by BEAUTIFUL STATUES and outdoor spaces. We came by today to appreciate the lovely art and architecture of this church, not expecting (since it was - holiday Monday) to have such nice encounters with the parishioners. We met several members of the Knights of Columbus (in full regalia) and Catholic Daughters, who were getting ready for a Patriotic Rosary event followed by a potluck supper. They kindly invited us to join them, but we had more miles to travel before sunset, otherwise we would have! When my daughter slipped in a puddle while visiting the Outdoor Stations of the Cross, we went back inside the parish hall and helped ourselves to a ziploc baggie and some ice for what is going to be a very bruised posterior tomorrow. read more

I felt very unwelcome here. I will never return. Men seem to be on power trips in their little golf cart "patrolling" the parking lot. They also lock the door during mass. You can get out but they have to have somebody let you in. It's very odd and unwelcoming. read more

I find this Church so ostentactious. I wonder if Jesus would be comfortable in a Church where so much money has obviously been spent on a huge brick fence, overly ornate art, etc, especially when He sought out the poor, the outcast, Samaritans, etc. The "Barbie Doll" like angels in the cupula over the altar are completely distracting. I did not find a warm welcome in this Church - just the excessive use of money spent on a building. You need a functioncal facility but the waste apparent in this church building appalled me. I will find another place to worship, when we complete our move to this area. read more

I went to service here today for the first time and absolutely LOVED IT!!! The priest spoke an amazing word, the fellowship of other members was just great and the architecture of overall cathedral was so beautiful. If you live in the Keller area its great! There are so many pros about this church but if I have to give a con, it would be that I didnt notice a infant or children's area . Most cathedrals ive attended has some sort of designated area for that but no biggie! read more

You will not find the dumbing down or watered down word of God here! my only complaint is not of the church itself...but the young parents not taking children out when they are noisy!! My family and I have attended since 2009, when we moved here from PA. We prayed to find a church that would be a great fit for our family and help us adjust to a new area. We were driving around looking at churches and getting a feel for the area. We thought we stumbled upon a Catholic church to attend..( I believe that it was divine intervention after our experience)We decided to give it a try since it was close to our home. Of course it is magnificent and beautiful to the eye, but would it stir our soul and feed our relationship with God? At first I was skeptical, only because of the sheer size of the church-how would we feel part of this massive parish? Honestly, I prepared myself for the tired, going- through- the -motions mass we had been experiencing for years at many different churches in the N.E. The tip-toe approach to serious matters involving "touchy" subjects. Watered down guidance with the idea of not offending parishioners... Well, as I said, Divine intervention...it is never tired- it is always inspiring and soul stirring!! We were/are blown away with the unapologetic, real approach at the pulpit! We absolutely LOVE the fact that our priests/Monsignors take their charge of helping the salvation of our souls SERIOSLY! The exemplary youth organization is truly awe inspiring! At that time My middle schoolers were less than thrilled to start up their Catechism classes again. I decided this was a great opportunity to get more involved with the inner workings, and volunteered. I witnessed the care and inspiration of many youth, and realized the transformation of luke-warm Catholic children to fire-in-the belly, devout, involved in every possible function young adults within my household. This is the greatest gift of all!! I am so grateful for such a wonderful, beautiful church to practice our faith!! read more

I attend Mass here when visiting my family, I am always a little struck by how conservative it can be. It has changed with a newer pastor, which is refreshing. At times you really feel like some are trying to "out-catholic" you. I am from a larger city with a different perspective on social justice issues, here it seems that some of the social justice issues are prioritized over others, which is always frustrating---especially at election time. read more

I have been a member of several Catholic Churches as I have moved throughout the metroplex and I am truly in love with this church. The priest is unashamed to follow catholic doctrine and is completely prolife!!!! It is a breathe of fresh air. In regards to the comment about the noise/children....yes, the church is filled with gorgeous children of all ages and families are welcome here! Huge foyer in the Back for families with kids who are like most...a little squirmy:). We usually get there when there is just room left to stand but love it. This used to be one of the best parishes in the diocese, not now. So many parishioners have left. Hate to say this but Monsignor Hart, not good. He's not orthodox, heck 10 years ago he wasn't even Catholic. He totally lacks people skills. He bullied people into making pledges when the church was raising money for new construction. His homilies are a broken record of his POV, which doesn't align with the Vatican's. Good news is that he's leaving soon. read more
