Beautiful church. We loved seeing such a large parish of so many families especially with many children. You can tell it's a strong vibrant church family. We enjoyed mass there very much while visiting from out of state.

People tend to make an early exit after communion. This is on the back/side doors.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is probably the most beautiful church in the Fort Worth area, sadly, it is also our least favorite. This church is so large and noisy, it's just down-right distracting. The first thing we notice is that there is always a steady flow of people just walking around, even during mass! Next is the constant din of cranky children. Many parents, or at least those who seem to realize they have noisy children, wait in the foyer. However there are so many other parents in the nave, oblivious to the amount of noise their children make, it just amazes us... Are they not aware that there are others here too? I guess it's just due to the demographics of the area and that's what you need to expect at this church, which is why it's our least favorite. My conscience really can't go less that 4 stars, as a) it is beautiful and b) it will remain our backup plan when, for whatever reason, we can't get down to St. John the Apostle.

Heaven and earth united with Jesus the Bread of Life

Amazing true classic Roman Catholic Church and school filled to the brim every mass with true believers of the Word of God... "they recognized Him in the breaking of the Bread".

VERY NICE parishioners in a WELCOMING and FRIENDLY church enhanced by BEAUTIFUL STATUES and outdoor spaces. We came by today to appreciate the lovely art and architecture of this church, not expecting (since it was - holiday Monday) to have such nice encounters with the parishioners. We met several members of the Knights of Columbus (in full regalia) and Catholic Daughters, who were getting ready for a Patriotic Rosary event followed by a potluck supper. They kindly invited us to join them, but we had more miles to travel before sunset, otherwise we would have! When my daughter slipped in a puddle while visiting the Outdoor Stations of the Cross, we went back inside the parish hall and helped ourselves to a ziploc baggie and some ice for what is going to be a very bruised posterior tomorrow.

Ask the Community - St Elizabeth Ann Seton

What's up with those two other people on the crucifix with Jesus?

The two other people are Mary, and St. John, in keeping with the biblical account of them being at the foot of the cross during the crucifixtion.

Is this a conservative/traditional Catholic church, or a modern, liberal church?

It tries hard to be more of a conservative/traditional Catholic church, both in architecture and practice. They got rid of the Boy Scout troop affiliated with the parish and now instead sponsors Troops of St. George and American Heritage Girls… Read more

The church is beautiful, Mass is quite traditional and reverent, and the priest and staff are staunch in their faith.

We arrived about 15 minutes early for the 10am service and were able to park pretty close to the door. Easy parking in their large lot. A couple golf carts were circling offering rides to the door if you'd like. Very polite parking attendants. We were welcomed by friendly people making quick small talk and opening doors for us. Inside smelled like a coffee shop. They had some seating areas and a long table with free refreshments (coffee, teas, water) & a few snacks. Kids areas and programs available from infants through young adults. Check in kiosks & Guest Services available. Comfortable chairs in the auditorium with small stage and some screens. Chairs had communion cups on them with cards to invite others to Church. The worship team was really good! Pastor Caleb did some speaking at the beginning & end of service. During service, you get the message on the screen from Pastor Craig. I was wondering how that would work out. It's a Different concept that may not appeal to all but I was actually glad because I really enjoy Pastor Craig - he's the main reason that I have continued with Life.Church online. I 100% recommend Life Church Online & their app. Services are available basically every 1.5 hours 24/7 so there's really no excuse to miss a weekly message - unless you don't have internet. I enjoyed attending service in person at this campus today. Everyone was very friendly and comfortable to be around. They want you to come as you are to worship and hear Gods word and connect with others.

Everything! Wonderful God worshipping community! Become involved! It'll be life changing!read more

As soon as you start driving up to the church you will notice immediately that it's huge. As you come to expect with this style of church house there were coffee stations set up, a bookstore, a cafe, a separate children's church area and 3 huge screens in the sanctuary. Milestone is the type of church were the pastor's message is timed down to the penny so you know exactly how long you will be in service. There was surely more than 1,000 worshippers in the sanctuary for the 11 am service. I am accustomed to the term "Youth pastor" but the pastor who brought the word during my visit was called a "Teaching Pastor". That term is new to me but certainly accurate to describe Pastor Jeb. He taught from the book of Luke and it was a wonderful message, starting with Bible scripture and staying true to bringing the word of God. The parking lot traffic directors, ushers and greeters all smiled and spoke to me. I attended alone and not one single parishioner outside of the greeters said a single word to me. This is most definitely not the church for me but I did enjoy the service and I think it's a nice church.

What's happening at this church - especially during the 11:30AM and 1:15PM services - is not that. It has crossed into full sensationalism and performance. The volume is extreme, the sermons are dramatized for reaction, and the environment lacks the reverence anyone would expect in a house of worship. I've seen people twerking in the hallways. I've seen women walk directly up to the pulpit in the middle of the pastor's sermon to shout at him and point while he's speaking. The atmosphere feels more like a comedy club than a church, and it's clear they're prioritizing being "modern" over being spiritually grounded. If you want to actually learn and experience respectful worship, stick to the 8:00 AM or 9:45 AM services. Those earlier services are much calmer, with sermons focused on the Word - not on the reactions of the crowd. The later services are dominated by attention-seeking behavior, unnecessary screaming, and constant distractions that take away from the biblical message, including dramatized retellings of scripture. For example, during the sermon about the woman caught in adultery, the pastor added details that don't appear in the text - talking about who she slept with and presenting the story like a modern-day reality show. The crowd reacted as though they were watching an episode, screaming and laughing as if the pulpit were a stage. If you're looking for reverence, biblical teaching, and an environment that respects the sanctuary, the later services are not the place. Hope they address: * the loss of reverence * the distraction from actual biblical teaching * the ways certain service times encourage chaos * how the atmosphere is becoming indistinguishable from a club
