good morning, my name is estella gambrill. i am a friend of reverend joseph dodson. from…read morechildhood, my parents raised me in an ame church. my mother worked in the church and eventually, as i grew up i also began to work in the church. ame churches do not baptise the way jesus was baptised. they sprinkle your forehead like catholics. when i grew older i realized that i was not in the type of church i wanted to be associated with. reverend dodson and i worked together for the city of maryland. i spoke to him and asked about being baptised. he told me that doswell cathedral would baptise me even though i did not belong. from childhood to being an adult, i never laughed. one of my siblings constantly beat me because he hated me for being the youngest child. when i was baptised at doswell, something happened to me. i came out of the water and began to laugh. from that day on i started coming to doswell cathedral. doswell has the atmosphere where a person can feel the holy spirit. i came to doswell because it was a god lead church and the atmosphere was holy. i had to move to baltimore county because i needed to buy a ranch house. my father was dying and he told me to buy a house and take care of my mother. my mother could not walk. eventually, i ended up with my son, my mother, and my sister. i worked two jobs from 7 am to 12 midnight. my father was a very wise and wonderful man. my mother was loving. he had saved enough money to enable me to hire two women to help my family when i went out to work. i could not go to church because the two ladies didn't work on the weekends. my mother required 24 hour service. i missed going to doswell cathedral. it is a place where you can feel the presence of god, jesus, and the holy spirit. when my father, mother, and sister passed and my son grew up and able to move away, i was left alone. i had two heart attacks and a stroke. when i had the stroke i could not talk or walk. the stroke happened during a procedure in the hospital. i have a deep love for teaching children about the bible. i was lying on the table paralyzed and i prayed to god to heal my body so i could continue to teach the children about the bible. the next day i woke up and i had to go to the bathroom. without realizing what i was doing i stood up and walked to the bathroom. when i came out the nurse screamed "how is it possible for you to walk?, you were paralyzed." i said, "i had to go to the bathroom and noone was around." she screamed and said, " how is this happening?" i told her, by the grace of god. i prayed to be healed and when i woke up, i didn't realize my prayer was answered. i tell everyone i know that story. doswell cathedral church of god in christ is the only church that i have attended that is truly godly. i teach children the bible from home on the internet. please send me the link to your church service online. i need to hear the true word of god spoken the way it should be spoken. estella b. gambrill

This is the most anointed house of the Lord that i have ever been. I have traveled and visited…read moremany churches and once i stepped through the doors i have not left since and that was in 2006!!! You are greeted at the door with a hug and scripture, the praise and worship team usher in the spirit of God and the pastor is not only transparent but greatly anointed filled with compassion and love to help you live a better life! My last three children where christened and i was even re-baptized by Pastor Micheal Phillips. I love this church and will continue to come for the rest of my life!
