A beautiful, well-kept, ritzy little Main Line cemetery filled with lush trees and surrounded by a low brick wall. Spooky gravestones mark the resting place for wealthy Main line citizenry. Deeper inside is the famous statue of 'mad' General Anthony Wayne; of Revolutionary War fame. For years, the tradition for local teenagers was to slip over this rampart on 'Mischief Night' in October and hesitantly make their way as far into the darkened grounds as they had nerve for. Because the legend was that mad ole Anthony Wayne's ghost could at any moment come charging out at them, at full gallop, astride his rampaging ghost horse.
