This Budgens is the worst convenience store ever!!! It does…read morenot open until 8am in the morning,by which time most people are already on their way too work and having to collect newspaper,milk,cigarettes,bread etc elsewhere. You expect too pay a little more for goods because its a local store but budgens prices are very high, with their own goods often being more expensive than top class brands. Service is always very slow with usually only one till open and other staff milling about. My pet hate is that they do not automatically give you a receipt and whenever I have visited I hace always been overcharged,because of this I no longer shop here and prefer too drive to supermarket. Tesco are trying to build a express store in our village and Budgens keep objecting to it,I wonder why!!!
