I attended the very first Sunday,…read moregrand-opening service, of this church this past Sunday at the invite of the Pastor and found it to be warm, welcoming, and a place that loves the Word of God, serving Jesus, and wants to help families and individuals learn to have a strong walk with God. If you are looking for a non-contemporary type of church with hymn singing, clear, strong preaching of God's Word, and perhaps a place to learn, grow, and serve, then as a first timer, I invite you to come and join us. The first day, it was amazing to meet everyone that God brought together for the first time. We were all new, but the fellowship was as if we were old friends. The Pastor has a large family himself (7 little ones in his picture) and clearly has a heart for people, for God, and appears determined to help other families and people through this difficult world in establishing the right foundation (Jesus Christ) for themselves (his first sermon here and I remembered :). I love this place already and plan to return. Please tell your friends. Salvation was made very clear here, so, if you have a friend who needs to hear how they can know for sure they are saved and on their way to Heaven, definitely bring them as they will get a clear presentation of the gospel here. Take care and God Bless.

I was kind of like a lost lamb since I have moved to the IE 15yrs ago. Not having a regular church to attend, I also made lame excuses for myself in not doing so. Welp God pulled me for sure, with a couple flyers on the door and mail, and such close proximity to my home, God was calling me and there was something about this one. I skittishly missed the grand opening, and a few Sundays later finally showed and have been attending since. Very warm, genuinely welcoming guests. The very talented young Pastor Tim Peterson and his family have got me hooked, and I am grateful. He delivers Christ's word with such great conviction and vibration it hits home every time. It is real and indescribable, witnessing gods word, being left in awe, that the message was seemingly hand picked for me or even my guest...they even chuckled because they felt very well this one was for them in that time. Every time, it is too specific for coincidence. I am proud to be a part of this churches new beginnings and have never been so excited to invite friends and family to a church before.

Today was strange. In our search for that 'right' church that 'fits us' we started with two…read moremethodist churches, both were small. The first, had the loudest sound system that blasted music (or noise) throughout San Berdoo. They were rehearsing the music before the service and it was just too loud to stay for. Plus we were told the service started at 9:30. When we got there we were told 10:00 but their service program said 10:30. So we had to wait with that blaring noise. The other, only had one car in the parking lot 1/2 hour before service. So, after Yelping, I picked this church. We had not tried a presby church yet in the I.E., so Yelp helped me pick this one out. With no reviews yet, it was more out of whim and it was the first closets to where we were to make it on time for the service. At first entry, the church felt calm. The service had just started. Good size congregation (almost full). What surprised me was an actual church choir! The interior is surrounded by pretty stained glass windows. With the sunlight outside, it made the colors light up. Oh and lots of white orgami birds which added a nice touch to the place. Reverends Tice and Ledermann gave great sermons and program. The service was great, funny, conservatively entertaining. Just when you think your elderly dad may never find a church in the I.E. that will satisfy him, he actually said, "I like this church. I'd like to come back again" The service was reminiscent of our church back in Canada. The choir and stained glass windows were the deal breaker. I recommend this church fellow Yelpers.
