They provide translation and interpretation services as well as a wide range of language tuition and classes. The students at Trylingual are invited to study at the headquarters on Allerton Road where they can enjoy a quiet place to study, have access to the library and free wi-fi, additionally they have a private viewing room where you are able to watch foreign films. Beginners are welcome, and the language tuition provided is Spanish, French, German, Italian and Japanese, however they will try and provide you with any language you require. They also offer English as a foreign language classes. The prices are quite reasonable at £214 for a 12 week course for adult beginners and intermediates, whereas advanced classes rise to £230. During my time there, I literally studied till I dropped! By word of mouth, I heard that I was attending one of the top Schools in Liverpool, so I had to brace myself for the amount of home work and extra activities I was involved in. This did put me under a lot of pressure as stress levels were inevitibly high during those years. However, if it had not been for St. Eddie's (as some call it), I would probably not have achieved my full potential. The School is located in quite a peaceful surrounding and when you enter the site, it has this classic School look about it with long corridors, a huge playing field and even a swimming pool (which was a bonus). The 6th Form building is pleasantly decorated in a building of heritage that the School has preserved. Its interior walls are painted in lovely pink too! Each classroom in the Upper School fits an average of 20 pupils and they have a wide range of facilites to benefit from, throughout the institution. There are also a couple of common rooms where you can eat and chat to friends in a controlled environment. If you are a parent and have a child or you are of the post-16 criteria, look no further than St. Edward's College.

Start dates are either in January, April, July or October consisting of one 2-hour class per week during weekdays at 6.30pm-8.30pm with an average class size of 8 students and a maximum of 12 students. Personally, I always find smaller classes better as the teacher can focus more on each individual with it being easier to manage so this is an advantage. Big Art is located within the Walker Art Gallery on William Brown Street and is designed for…read morechildren up to 8 years of age. Its full of hands on activities, drawing, painting, model making, stories, songs and dress up. Best of all its completely free. My children (aged 4 and 8) regularly choose Big Art as a choice of a day out during half terms and weekends and as a parent it is just lovely to be able to spend a couple of quiet hours simple playing with the kids away from the normal domestic distractions. They also provide a number of fun worksheets designed for the kids for use in the main gallery too.

It claims that the size of the university is beneficial to students as they are able to care and pay more attention to individuals. They offer a wide range of degree options including undergraduate, postgraduate and PGCE courses. They have also been voted the number one univesity for graduate employment in the North West. Some of the staff are decent and some are horrendous - like most places I suppose. In the morning the reception staff are really helpful and kind, whereas in the afternoon, it seems to hurt them to say hello. The canteen.. well don't even go there. The food is disgusting and the prices are ridiculous. There was a sandwich bar, similar idea to Subway which was always extremely popular but for some reason, they got rid of it.

Liverpool Hope has always struck me as a great place: the joint Anglican-Catholic foundation is a…read moregood start, sending a positive message about ecumenical links; and the buildings, greenery and setting are all very pleasant. I have attended dozens of business meetings here over the years, and had several lunches and breakfasts too. It does a good line in conferences and meetings here, and rightly so: they look after you well and the catering is generally of a high standard. Certainly the staff were friendly and eager to help. I only knew a few of the academic staff there but they always seemed to be very positive people. The University has a deservedly good reputation for the quality of its teacher-training in particular and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to prospective students. Hope has a building at Everton too (used for some of its Arts courses, I believe). It's not in such a green part of Liverpool but it's a spectacular building and makes a great venue for concerts. All in all, a great place to study or to come for a meeting.
