The school have no idea how to support a child with special needs, mental health issues etc. I found the head of the senco team arrogant, rude and disrespectful. My daughter was treated like a second class citizen and very rarely was issues of bullying addressed. It was never the bullies fault and always my daughters. They twitter on about reward trips and then allow the bullies to go too. One of the PE teachers screamed at my daughter in the middle of Chester Zoo on a trip and she was on her knees begging him to let her stay. I wish he had phoned me. This particular memory of many makes me feel sick. I could write a book how this school broke my daughter and our family. If your child does not have mental health issues going into the school, they will by the time they finish. I failed my daughter by allowing her to continue her education in such a dreadful place. If you want your child to excel please do not send them here!

I don't know where to start, from the lack of support due to mental health issues at the time or the incompetent teachers. The lack of support lead to my mental breakdown in early 2019. My mental health issues were constantly belittled by the teachers who told me "it's not that bad" and were insincere and didn't follow through when they said they were going to help me. Excuse after excuse. Long story short I spent most of 2020 recovering from mental health issues after being denied support and I'm glad I left when I did. The SLT team and the head are not fit to be running the place. And to any person considering Woodchurch as an option, please avoid this school like the plague. All ex-pupil reviews will be the same.

During my time there, I literally studied till I dropped! By word of mouth, I heard that I was attending one of the top Schools in Liverpool, so I had to brace myself for the amount of home work and extra activities I was involved in. This did put me under a lot of pressure as stress levels were inevitibly high during those years. However, if it had not been for St. Eddie's (as some call it), I would probably not have achieved my full potential. The School is located in quite a peaceful surrounding and when you enter the site, it has this classic School look about it with long corridors, a huge playing field and even a swimming pool (which was a bonus). The 6th Form building is pleasantly decorated in a building of heritage that the School has preserved. Its interior walls are painted in lovely pink too! Each classroom in the Upper School fits an average of 20 pupils and they have a wide range of facilites to benefit from, throughout the institution. There are also a couple of common rooms where you can eat and chat to friends in a controlled environment. If you are a parent and have a child or you are of the post-16 criteria, look no further than St. Edward's College.

Liverpool International Language Academy (LILA) is a well-established school. The courses are usually 10 weeks long ranging from beginner to advanced level and you can choose from French, Spanish, Italian, Turkish and Portugese. Courses with their native speaker teachers are available throughout the year starting at just £159. Start dates are either in January, April, July or October consisting of one 2-hour class per week during weekdays at 6.30pm-8.30pm with an average class size of 8 students and a maximum of 12 students. Personally, I always find smaller classes better as the teacher can focus more on each individual with it being easier to manage so this is an advantage. The school is located in the heart of Liverpool, close to the main bus and train stations. There are many shops, cafes and pubs nearby making it very convenient. Thumbs up for LILA!
