This is a very large property with plenty of parking. It does draw some crowds. There is a Sikh Temple right before entering the property where this is located. You will have to remove your shoes upon entering the temple. There are separate changing areas for men and women. There are cubby holes to put your footwear into. I was wearing shorts so I had to wrap a covering on because you have to have below the knee covered. The same is true if you are wearing a tank top. The entire Mindar (temple) is constructed from Italian Marble. There is a 10 minute narrated video about the ongoing construction. You can get a narration device to take with you as you tour the Mindar. The narration tour takes a little over 20 minutes. You can take the tour without as well. Not sure if there is a fee for the narration module but the temple itself is free. The carving and detail is manificent. It's all white marble. There are paintings and mosaic type pictures on the walls. There are placards with some of the history of the movement in India. There is a store on the premises. We did not gave time to go in there. Perhaps next time. However, we did see people leaving with plastic bags which appeared to be filled with food products. This property is huge. I understand that cricket fields may be constructed there. I'm not sure when the entire grounds will be completed but it will magnificent upon completion. By the way, people were very friendly.

I go here to find a quiet place to relax and find calm. Both the priest and his wife are…read moreincredibly nice and the people I have met there are friendly and make me feel very comfortable there.
