The place offers a small yet interesting menu specialized in french cuisine, although there are some pastas and risottos available too.
We ordered a roasted beet salad to start with: it was overall good and original, although I might try something different next time.
For a main course, we ordered the grilled corn risotto and the honey glazed salmon: both were exquisite. I had the risotto and was surprised by the originality of the ingredients, mixing roasted corn was something out of the ordinary and that resulted very tasty. The salmon tasted similar to what the US calles a "miso glazed", less original but still delightful.
For dessert, we had a warm chocolate cake (similar to a lava cake). Here we were a little disappointed. The cake was overcooked and there was no lava inside it, however the caramel ice-cream that went with it was delicious and they serve top quality coffee, which made it up for the underwhelming cake.
Overall, the place is small, tables are very close together so there is little privacy, there seem to be no smoke extractors so the place got all foggy inside, yet the ceiling is high so the noise level was always decent.
I would qualify this restaurant as a 4-star cuisine in a 3-star venue. Overall, our experience was clouded by the lack of a proper venue, however I think that a 4 star rating would better describe what this restaurant has to offer.
I must say they also have a pretty good wine selection for such a small place. Cheers!
