As I was walking up Joel was returning and said he needed 15 minutes. I walked in as he took a customer and seated him at our appt time. He said it would be real quick. The guy had a beard and almost no hair so how long could it take? 30 MINUTES later my son said let's go. I walked over to Joel and said we were leaving. He actually seemed surprised. I told him that I had yelled to get my son out the door to be on time as I told him being on time is important. Joel said he was done (didn't look like it as the customer wasn't moving) and I replied at that point I didn't care. He then offered to cut for free. I didn't care. NO APOLOGY, NO EXPLANATION. I'm sure everyone got an earful how unreasonable I was after I left. I hope that guy you gave our time to is a repeat customer and tips well, because we will never return. They had a totally separate kids waiting room with games and books that kept my son entertained while he waited his turn. He had his hair cut by Sandy who was just awesome. So friendly and she kept telling me (and my son) what a well behaved young man he was. This means the world to me because Ronin is autistic and his mood varies greatly. It was nice to have someone appreciate him for the boy that he is. They also had free plastic fireman hats for the kids post-cut, and lollipops, gum, and for the adults Kenny had brewed some amazing Kona Hawaiian coffee!
