A couple weeks ago, we needed them cleaned and Midwest came out and provided a bid, and while they cleaned, they also offered to do what they could to correct the angle of the gutters that the other company failed to install correctly. Our older house also needed a little personalized work on the roof, and the ops manager Branden came out himself and did the work for us. Also, at time of quote, they were about 2.5 weeks out (easy to understand, working in the summer, and with recent thunderstorms and heavy winds). We weren't in a rush, but a couple days later, the team called and said they had a last minute cancellation and asked if they could swing by and service our gutters. They could have headed to the next customer early and stayed in the air conditioning but they wanted to take care of the customer. Would absolutely recommend Midwest Roofing Services again and will call them in the future.

Signed a contract on July 8, 2026 after inspection of my basement for waterproofing. Jake did a…read moregood job explaining the need and showing objective evidence. Told us the work could probably be done before we moved in August 1. Heard back that it would be Aug. 13-14. OK, fine but feel like the August 1 proposal was just to get us to sign. Crew arrived August 13 to begin work. Beware, if your basement needs to be jack hammered, get some earplugs or vacate the home for the day. However, someone needs to be there while they work. On arrival and initial review of the work with the crew, they asked about the electrical. Where would the sump pumps be plugged in. This was NEVER discussed by the Project Manager, Jake. We just figured it was factored into the project. It's not!! Turns out that's on you. Major overlook by the PM. We refused to pay for this. They agreed. We should have been informed from the outset and a month later, we are still waiting for an electrician to do the work. Also, one of the sump pumps is STILL not operational. Thrasher has failed to provide a check valve that is needed. Got a visit from Jake's manager, Corey, with supposed needed part and we voiced our concerns about all the delays. Turns out Corey brought the wrong part and we're still waiting as of Sept. 9. The outside work was done by a local plumbing company. They did a great job. The outside plumbing work was not done until a week and a half after the crew finished the basement. Poor coordination. The PM had over a month to schedule this done in coordination with the work. Be prepared to have anything on the walls of any area waterproofed totally ripped. Shelves, paneling, doorways. This was not explained adequately. The crew did a good job on the floor but left much of the work unfinished. Ceiling panels hanging, ripped out door frame and door not replaced. Maybe this is how they work, but that was not explained adequately. A set of JBL earbuds went missing after the work. Asked the company to check with the crew. It took weeks to hear back. It turns out one of the crew had taken them, supposedly thinking the buds were is. He claims he owns a similar pair. The buds were in a storage cup on an elliptical but we gave him the benefit of the doubt. If you have Thrasher do work for you. Be sure and get ALL the details. They leave out so many things. You need to eliminate as many surprises as possible. But you shouldn't have to.

I explained that I was out of state but, my 86 yr old mother lived in Wichita and a portion of her roof was damaged which cause the meter attached to the house to pull away from the structure. I sent him a picture to show the damages. The electric company was going to have to turn off her power if we didn't get it repaired as it posed a danger because the power lines were also affected; not to mention that a storm was due to hit that night which would have caused additional water damage to the inside of her home. Despite the fact that it was close to end of his day and my call was last minute Graham inconvenienced himself, by picking up his child from school taking her home, getting members of his crew together and went to my moms house that evening to repair her roof. It wasn't lost on us that he could have easily chosen to schedule us for later that week. Not only did he repair the roof, HE REFUSED TO ACCEPT PAYMENT for services rendered. I have never experienced such a display of empathy as it pertains to a business transaction or that degree of kindness from a stranger. In my opinion, I liken his service to calling a plumber on a Sunday night for a busted pipe. Payment was certainly earned and deserved.
