Camera in the corner yells at you

I washed my car, and went to dry when the vacuum machine kept taking my money after I would out in the quarters. All of a sudden a voice extremely rudely says I have to leave. He said they're closed and I can't be there. He then proceeds to increase his tone and yell at me to leave and stated you have 7 minutes before the police come. I had a verbal altercation with the voice saying in multiple locations it states they are 24/7. I stayed an extra 10-15 min to see if he was bluffing and he was. He proceeded to yell rudely and play an automated message for me to leave as I packed up my stuff after I had washed my car. This was all before 11pm mind you when he stated "we're closed" if your there before 11 you shouldn't be kicking paying customers out. Additionally I had spent money at this location not to mention the machines took my money. I asked the voice to a refund and he said too bad and continued to be rude and unruly. I cannot express my discontent with this place and the "owner" or "voice" i had an interaction with. Furthermore if you are reading this update your hours and maybe be less stingy and rude you'll live longer.

Honestly, I've been coming here since 2012 and lived one street over. I work for a company at the airport and we frequently wash our fleet vehicles here as well due to the location. Today, this fine specimen decided to pick me out of everyone else washing their cars for reasons I believe of Tesla derangement syndrome. This comes with a territory of owning a Cybertruck if that paints a picture. I merely turned the machine on after I deposited $12 to self wash my car. I forgot to select car wash mode on my vehicles touchscreen (essential to not damage electronics from water ingress) so I briefly went back inside my vehicle to turn it on and this gentleman comes up to me asking if I'm done. He proceeds to shut the machine off. I wasn't sure if he worked there or not at first. I got out washed my truck and then moved up to the vacuums where he approached me a second time. This time in a condescending attitude, he was mocking me for having my vehicle 1-2 feet past a yellow line. I did this so I can open the rear doors and vacuum. He said that I wouldn't park an aircraft past the yellow line. Why would I park my vehicle like that? (Addressing me in my work attire) Remind you there was another 6 feet from my front bumper to the wall so I was not obstructing a pathway or anything. Due to the nature of the design on how the rear doors articulate on this truck I needed the space to move up just enough so I don't damage the doors. He proceeded to tell me that I threw the foam brush on the ground and was walking around like I own the place. And those brushes cost $500. He wasn't even in the vicinity when I set the brush on the ground. This is a procedure that I always do when I wash my car when using the foam brush. I place it on the ground and rinse the bristles so I don't etch dirt from other vehicles into the surface of my own. The brush also produces an incredible amount of foam as soon as it is selected. So with experience, I set it down, then turn it on, so I don't get soaked in foam. I'm not the only one that does this. He went off beating me for nothing in front of other customers. I did get irate and had a few choice words. But before that exchange, he was already on the phone with Police trying to have me arrested for trespassing. I promptly told him that I am leaving his property and you would have to give me a warning first of trespassing to give me an opportunity to leave. I went directly to the El Segundo Police Department and asked for a FOIA release of his phone call for miss use of an emergency service. I told the officer that if he did call, I would like to press charges against him. I currently have a case number with the El Segundo PD. This individual is a poor representation of his business and El Segundo. This individual was so triggered by my vehicle or my veterans license plate or for whatever reason he had politically that he went out of his way to publicly humiliate me in front of other individuals while I'm still in my work uniform. I'm not sure what happened in his life or why he's so grumpy but I'm not gonna allow that to jeopardize my career by falsifying to the police about our altercation. If you are a Tesla owner, I strongly advise go find somewhere else to wash your car. This review is mainly for men's mental health awareness. Please seek help instead of unloading on a stranger. Thankfully for me as a veteran we have many resources. The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) also has a helpline (1-800-950-NAMI or 62640) that provides information and support,

I understand the cost of everything is going up, I do. And if you add new equipment, yes you're going to need to raise the prices a bit. But if you raise your prices, that doesn't mean you should lessen your services. The prices to wash your vehicle use to be $5.00 for 15 minutes. Now with the new equipment and I assume cost of cleaners it's $6.00 for 12 minutes. It might not seem like much, but it's a bit of a slap in the face. I mean the cost of gas goes up and you don't get less fuel. The cost of bread goes up and you don't get less per loaf. So on and so on. Being a business owner I understand the rising cost in the environment. I also understand providing a quality product or service shouldn't diminish. It's only a dollar more and 3 minutes less. But it just seems like a "we don't care" type of move towards loyal customers. I'll just wash at home from now on, and steer my friends in the area to do the same.

Put $3 in and it didn't turn on. Can't get my money back. No attendant on site to help. Deposit cash at your own risk.

I want to recognize the outstanding service I received at El Segundo 5-Minute Express Car Wash. A manager, Fernando, was truly amazing and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Not only did he help me figure out the next steps, but he also generously let me use his personal phone to contact the AAA driver--and even to track them down when they ended up at an address down the street. He remained calm, patient, and supportive throughout, which made a stressful moment so much easier to handle. It's rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about helping others, and I'm incredibly grateful for Fernando's kindness and generosity. I tipped the AAA technician for his quick help, and I also offered Fernando a cash tip for the 45 minutes he spent assisting me--on top of using his own phone and managing his regular duties with total professionalism. He kindly declined the cash tip, which says everything about his character. Thank you again, Fernando, for turning a difficult situation into a manageable one. I hope more people choose this car wash and get to experience the exceptional service you provide.

I drove from Palos Verdes to Red Carpet Car Wash in Manhattan Beach based on the reviews, specifically so I wouldn't have to clean my car myself. Instead, I ended up cleaning it after they did. I waited about 10 minutes. I clearly asked for all sand to be vacuumed and asked the manager to remove an old window sticker. Both were acknowledged. When I got home, there was sand still left in multiple areas: the driver footwell, rear driver-side area, passenger seat, and trunk. The car wash was not busy, so this wasn't due to volume. The sunroof was left hazy with cleaning product not fully wiped off. There was also cleaning residue left on the windshield wiper switch, the tire shine was uneven, and sticker residue was still left behind. I even tipped the attendant $20, and still had to re-vacuum and re-clean my car at home, which defeats the entire purpose of coming here. If I were ever to consider returning, it would only be if they offered at least a full detail to make up for the inconvenience. I also have photos documenting all of this. They can always email me at carloshernandez2675@gmail.com if they would like to amend this visit.

I have taken my and my spouse's cars, my two classic cars and my RV there regularly for cleaning and detail services. Up until recently, I would have given a great 4 or 5 star review. Sadly, things have changed. I am posting this so nobody else has to go through what I am going through. If you take your car to this car wash, ABSOLUTELY check the entire car for damage. After many years of great service there, I never thought to do this. Then, I brought my new Lincoln Nautilus there to be cleaned. When I went to pick up my car, I noticed that the person who cleaned it was not with my car. I was a bit time constrained, so I asked another employee who cleaned it so I could give him my tip. The man who cleaned it was on the other side, cleaning a car that just came out of the wash. The employee gave him my tip, and I went to my car, went home and parked it in my garage. Two days later, I took my car out of the garage to load some items in the trunk. When doing so, I noticed that the tires had not been shined. While looking down, I noticed a small but deep dent low down on my drivers door (please note that the photos do not show how deep the dent is). I am 6'4" so did not see it when I picked up the car from the car wash. Over those two days, my car was parked in my garage, without being used and no car or anything on the left that could have made such a deep dent. Now I know why my tires weren't shined and why the guy who cleaned it was far away from my car, and wouldn't even make eye contact when the other employee gave him my tip. He didn't finish the job and wanted to avoid me because he knew he dented my car. By the looks of the small but deep dent, it seems that he banged my door against the wash machine equipment or some other equipment, not another car. I tried to get a dent removal service to take it out and they cannot do it because it is at the seam of the door. Now, every time I go to my car, I can't help but notice the dent. I absolutely love my car, my most expensive and favorite car I have ever owned, yet I get sad each time I use my car seeing that dent. I will now have to take it to a body shop to repair, which I know will not be cheap, and doubt they will be able to match the special pearl tri-coat paint with the rest of the car. Needless to say, I have been washing my cars on my own and will not return. Very sad that one employee ruined a long business relationship. If he had just owned up to it instead of hiding, things would be much different.

His interior detail was most excellent, he made my cars look new inside - I'm not sure how he was able to clean the perforated leather seats so well! Great work dude! On the exterior, I watched Borys use a bucket of water with something like Optimum No Rinse. He then used claybar to remove surface imperfections, and finished up with a polish and sealant job using a polishing machine. I don't remember the exact products used, but he spent quite a while and quite a few different pads on the process, so it was very well done. Now, I hired Borys to detail my Jeep first. After he left I took a good look at it: The interior was perfect! On the outside, Borys used some kinda black plastic restoration product that made the cowl piece (black plastic by the windshield wipers) look unbelievably new. The paint surfaces overall were very good, there were some surface imperfections he couldn't get out, but I believe you'd need a far more expensive "paint correction" for that. I was so impressed I asked him for an appointment to come back and detail our other cars, one just 6 months old and one about 7 years old.
